Confederate Memorial day that is. Yes, we here in the State of Florida have a Memorial Day in remembrance of and to honor the Confederate fallen. In small towns and cities all across the South the people who remember and still care will be out placing flags at the headstones of the fallen. Some will be “visiting” with family, others will be “visiting” with strangers. As for me, today I have to work, not a “state holiday”, so I will have to go “visiting” on my day off, but go “visiting” I will.
