And then what?

Is a Civil War possible here in America? I would have to say, Yes. So with that in mind, I looked into 3 Wars in the past a War of Aggression and Conquest, a Revolution and a Civil War. I did this looking for similarities and how the circumstances of each could come into play in modern America and in fact the World.

A Civil War is defined as; a war between opposing groups of citizens of the same country.

By the definition above there is no way possible that the War of Aggression and Conquest 1861-1865 could have or should have ever been called the American Civil War. It was not the citizens of the North fighting amongst themselves, and it certainly was not the citizens of the South fighting amongst themselves.

There was another definition; a war waged to overthrow the government of ones own country. Even by this definition the War of Aggression and Conquest could not be called a Civil War. There were two distinct countries involved. The United States of America and the Confederate States of America, the Union and the Confederacy. The Confederacy nor the citizens of the Confederacy did not wage a war with the Union to overthrow the government of the United States of America. The citizens of the Confederacy certainly did not wage war against the Confederate States of America in an attempt to overthrow the government of the Confederacy.

There was even another definition; a war waged between geographic regions within the same country. While this definition comes close, it still does not fit the bill. True enough North and South are two geographic regions and they could be regions in and of the same country. The only way the War of Aggression and Conquest meets this definition is that the Confederate States of America was in the South, and the United States of America was in the North. America from the time of the Articles of Confederation until now has always been two countries in one, in more ways than one.

There was yet another definition; a war waged between political factions. A war based on politics now this really comes close, nearly a “perfect match”, close but no “cigar”. I encourage you to dive deep into this area on your own. There is much hiding in the shadows in American politics, then and now. Politics and politicians started the rift and placed the kindling.

It was not the Confederacy that started the war, the Confederacy was forced to fight. Forced to fight for its survival. But just what was the Confederacy fighting for? You can answer this for yourselves. But you must look at the reasons and the timing of the Southern States seceding. First was South Carolina then 6 more for a total of 7. Later 4 more seceded for a total of 11. Then look at what would be the benefit(s) of remaining in the Union. You may be surprised at what you find.

The Russian Revolution 1917. This was a two stage Revolution. First Removing the Czar in February(forced abdication and subsequent arrest). Second the “Reds” coming to power in October. Atrocities and Retributions abounded during and after the fighting.

The Spanish Civil War 1936-1939. This was a Civil War based on politics and political factions, citizens fighting citizens within the same country, overthrowing a government. At the conclusion General Franco became dictator(1939-1975). Atrocities and Retributions abounded during and after the fighting.

So let’s get back to the question, is a Civil War possible in America? My answer was and is Yes. If or when it happens it will not be a repeat of 1861-1865, it instead will be a combination of the Russian Revolution(1917)and the Spanish Civil War(1936-1939). The ground work has been laid, the kindling is in place, put there by the activists just waiting for a spark.

America is a nation divided, always has been always will be. This is best proven by some of the founding documents, most notably the Constitution. The Constitution established a government based on compromise. The Framers made compromises to get a document that enough states would support. Each state got a little through negotiation but no one got everything they wanted. Negotiation was the key, though now it has been made apparent that not all of the delegates negotiated in good faith. The big government types left themselves a little “wiggle room” in the Constitution but said there was nothing to fear.

America is at this point more divided than ever, and unfortunately it appears that compromising and negotiating will not and can not heal or even lessen the divide. Some groups want what they want and will resort to violence or threats of violence to get it. It is difficult, no impossible, to negotiate with a person or a group who is unwilling to make a compromise. Strangely enough most of the divisions in this Republic today are based on politics and demagoguery instead of geographical/cultural differences.

Think on this for just a moment. How many in America are calling President Trump an illegitimate president. There has been a lot of time and energy devoted/wasted trying to tie the election of President Trump to Russian influence in our elections. There are even some democrats seeking to find ways to remove President Trump from office, whether by impeachment or invoking the 25th Amendment. They want him out of office voluntarily(abdicate)or forced(impeached or the 25th). They would probably rather that he just abdicate, not as messy. I suspect that some republicans fit into this as well.

How many in America are promoting, supporting and encouraging violence as an end to political differences? The most prevalent in this area are the entertainers. There is another aspect to consider when examining the Spanish Civil War. The Fifth Column, the enemy within. Four columns assaulting from outside and the fifth on the inside aiding the four. Think about this, we can all agree that the Media is against President Trump, that could be one column. The anti-fascist element, that could be another column. The illegal aliens could be another column. Those who fall into the heated and inflammatory rhetoric could be yet another column. But who or what would make up the Fifth Column, the enemy within, the enemy among us?

So what would happen if Civil War was visited upon this Republic, citizens taking up arms against their fellow citizens? Will/would it just happen or would/will it be forced to happen? First let me say this; There will only be fighters and victims. The surest way to become a victim is not to pick a side, there will be no fence-setters. The federal government will step in and depending on who heads the government depends on how heavy the hand is. Martial Law will most certainly be declared as Local Law-Enforcement will quickly be overwhelmed. The Writ of Habeas Corpus will most certainly be suspended. The Military will be placed between a rock and a hard place, they will be forced to either take up arms against their fellow citizens or take up arms against their brothers. The same goes for Law-Enforcement. The entire country will be put between a rock and a hard place.

People should spend some time thinking about the aftermath of a Civil War. There will be no way back, not for this Republic, it will cease to exist. The land will still exist but the dream will be extinguished. Atrocities and Retributions will abound during and after the fighting, especially after. They always do.

There is another thing to consider. If there is a Civil War there will be a vacuum, a vacuum that must and will be filled. What will fill the vacuum? Look at the Civil Wars in Syria and Ukraine.

There is another thing to consider. The Civil Wars in Syria and Ukraine have had little effect on the global economy. What effect would be felt by the global economy if America were to fall into a Civil War? Something tells me that the U.S. is not going to have a Civil War for purely financial reasons. The reason is that it is not time to sink the global economy, not yet anyway. Even the smartest animal trainer knows that the animal they have trained so well and for so long can turn on them at a moments notice. Just because the time is not right for them it may happen(ready or not)anyway.

Just in case the handlers may have “hedged” their bets. Remember back to the “Fast and Furious” gun running episode. Did all of the guns find their way to Mexico? Would it be possible that some of them did but the majority of them are still in America? A possible cache for a possible Fifth Column. You would want your side to come out on top.

A Civil War would usher out the last President and Usher in the first Dictator. Who will/would be which?

So let me ask those who think violence is the way to solve/settle political differences this; Are those that inspire you to action insulated from what they cause? You can bet that they are. Most if not all of those who inspire your acts of violence are nothing more than “attention whores”, they say what they say just to get attention. Learn to think or yourself. You at present are acting out on their behalf.

Be careful what you ask for and understand the consequences, intended and unintended.

Just tell us the truth, for once

And again the Republicans have failed. But, then they never had any intention of coming through and never will. Campaign promises(lies)left unfulfilled, but then they have been making promises since the days of Reagan to secure the southern border. Actually, I am not at all shocked that the Republicans in Congress failed the voters(time and again)who sent them to office. Failing is their only success. At least they are not a total loss, they would be a total loss if they did absolutely nothing.

By all appearances the Republicans have “mystical powers”. They can talk out of both sides of their mouths at the same time, and the audiences hear different things. One could say that one audience hears what the politicians say and the other audience hears what the politicians mean.

You had nearly 7 years to come up with a “fix” for Obamacare, and that almost 7 years appears to have been fruitless. You had no plan, you made no plan, no I take that back you had a plan. Your plan all along was to “bitch and moan” then do exactly nothing about Obamacare. The House took two half-hearted stabs at it, nothing. Now the Senate has taken their stab at it and again nothing.

You seem to have time to do everything but your job. You had time to practice for a baseball game. You even found time to play the game. Quick question for you. Had the republicans been busy taking care of business at work instead of out “goofing off” on our dime would the fellow from Illinois been able to do what he did? You claim that the baseball game is a long-standing tradition and that may be so but it is not important. There is another long-standing tradition for Congress and that is to legislate actually getting things accomplished, and that is important. You put “play” before or instead of work. We out here in work-a-day America play after the work is done.

You seem to have an abundance of time to go on recess and take one vacation after another. You seem to have time to go on the “news” programs and give interviews. You seem to have time to “probe” and hold hearings. You seem to find Russians everywhere, while finding them nowhere.

Speaking of vacations and recesses, you have a vacation coming up real soon. When you come back from your vacation it will be the middle of July. Then you will have about 2 weeks before your August recess. How much can you get accomplished in just 2 weeks? I mean after all you had nearly 7 years to come up with a plan to repeal Obamacare and apparently that was not enough time. So in 2 weeks you plan to come up with a “fix” for Obamacare. Do not forget we are still waiting on a tax “fix” and a border wall among other things. Speaking of the border issue, how much time do you really need? I guess over 30 years was not enough. Seems to me some one said something like; Do this now and never have to do it again.

You people are truly overworked. Oh, by-the-way September comes after August, that means budget time. You have the same amount of days available to work as do most Americans that still have jobs. I put in over 40 hours a week and still manage to have time to goof off. How many hours do you manage to put in every week actually working? My guess is next to none.

So tell us the truth. Are you ever going to secure the southern border? Are you even planning on “fixing” Obamacare? Are you even planning on addressing the tax issue? My guess is NO to each question.

Maybe I am being to hard on you. After all why should you do anything right now, you have plenty of time. Next year you could do it all. After all if you did these things now the voters might forget. If you manage to get it all done next year it would still be fresh in the voters minds. Would it not? This is not an election year, next year is. No, this is not your plan.

Do nothing this year and next year and the voters will remember. President Trump does not face re-election until 2020, while the House as well as 1/3 of the Senate face re-election in 2018. Is that your plan to do nothing and risk losing control of the House and the Senate in 2018? If that were to happen the years 2019 and 2020 would be lost, absolutely nothing meaningful would get done. That would place the re-election of President Trump in jeopardy. My guess is this is your plan.

Which is it you despise the most President Trump, the American people or America?

This post is in response to a survey I received in the mail the other day, a survey from and commissioned by the RNC. The official title is; Congressional District Census. Yep, straight from the Chairwoman of the RNC. Even came with a “document tracking code”. There is a “census” and a four page(two pages front and back)accompanying letter.

First let me tell you about the “census”.
There is a header on the “census”; Special Notice: You have been selected to represent Voters in Florida’s 5th Congressional District. Enclosed please find documents registered I your name. I thought we already had a “politician” from your Party representing Florida’s 5th Congressional District. Actually what he represents is the RNC, Special Interest Groups and his donors not the Voters, the Middle-Class.

The “census” is broken down into 5 sections.
Section 1-Political Profile. If you really knew me you would already know the answers to these 6 Questions, after all you said I would be Representing the Voters in Florida’s 5th Congressional District. 6 pointless questions.
Section 2-General Issues. Oh, you have to be kidding me. The questions in this section insult my intelligence, especially number 5. Do you support a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress? Yes, No or No Opinion? The question I would like to ask the Chairwoman of the RNC is this; Do you or would you support a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress? Yes, No or No Opinion? Does or would the RNC? I know that the Congress critters would not, they like the power, control and prestige. And then there is question 6; Do you think “political correctness” has gotten out of hand in America? Yes, No, or No Opinion? I ask you Madam and the RNC the same question. A total of 8 insulting questions.
Section 3-Domestic Issues. Another insulting 19 questions.
Section 4-National Defense. 9 more insulting questions.
Section 5-Certification and Reply. This is by far my favorite part of the “census”. Only 1 question. But there is no place to mark the census No or No Opinion. There are however two ways to say yes. The question is. Can the RNC count on your help to better deliver our message as we fight to Make America Great Again? There is a place to mark yes and the usual blocks to mark for a contribution amount. There is another block, one in which there is no donation amount, but they do want the returning sap to enclose $15 to pay for the cost of processing the “census”. There is yet another block to mark certifying that the answers are your own.

Well Madam, it is only by me exercising good manners that prevents me from telling you where you should deposit this “census”. You can trust me when I say there is no block for me to mark. My answers are not; yes, no or no opinion, I do have an opinion, though you may not want it.

Now let me conduct my own census of the Chairwoman and the RNC. Just what is the message you wish to get out?

The RNC is no more than a slick marketing operation for politicians you are not the opposition party.

Now let me address the four page accompanying letter. You ask for donations to the RNC on page 1. You ask for donations to the RNC twice on page four. There is not a “message” to deliver in the whole damn letter.

You will not be receiving one red cent from this representative of the Voters in Florida’s 5th Congressional District.

Now I close with this. The money you wasted printing and mailing your census could have been put to better use. Like maybe securing the Southern Border like you have promised since Regan.

What was done with it?

Today marks the 73rd Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in Normandy, France. Tuesday June the 6th 1944 Operation Neptune, from the sea. Sadly some in America and Europe, especially France, will go through this day without even a thought of the events of 73 years ago.

Most of Western Europe had been overrun by Adolph Hitler and his German Military. Entire countries were occupied by the Nazis. Groups of people had been rounded up and placed in concentration camps. People were executed or exterminated for their religions or for a myriad of other reasons or for no reason at all, millions of people were killed. Some of the people of the occupied countries collaborated with the occupying Nazis. Some of the people of the occupied countries continued the fight, the resistance, after their military forces surrendered to the Germans.

The Great Crusade, Operation Overlord. The military intent of Operation Overlord was to drive the German forces from the occupied countries of Western Europe and ultimately to destroy the German Military. A Crusade to return to the people what had been taken from them in conquest, their land and homes. The German military was a Military of Conquest. The Allied Military was a Military of Liberation.

The Crusaders landed at Normandy then moved across Western Europe. They drove out the Conquerors and gave the lands back to the people. The lands were Liberated and then given back to the rightful owners, France was given back to the French and so forth. The Liberated countries were once again free to chart their own destinies. Free from occupation. Sound familiar?

That was then this is now.
Western Europe is once again being invaded, not by a foreign military but a foreign religion. The new invasion is not like the last. The last time was with force, military force. This time it is being done with immigration, the invaders are actually being invited in. They are being allowed in. The new normal, Terrorists and Terrorism. Who would have ever thought that living with Terrorists and Terrorism would be considered “part and parcel” of normal life in the civilized West? Is that not what some of your “exalted Leaders” have said? Or at least something similar?

Now to the Citizens of the Western European countries. On this day go and visit the graveyards of those who died helping to Liberate you and your lands from the last invading hoards. Hundreds of Thousands, if not Millions of brave men gave their lives to rescue you from invaders and occupiers. As you visit the grave sites ask yourself a question. Have I done them justice? Reflect on this for just a minute. Men died helping during the effort to Liberate you and your lands, Crusaders. Men also died in effort to keep your lands occupied and keep you as a conquered people, Conquerors.

What did you do with it when it was Liberated and given back to you?

You, the citizens of Western Europe may yet lose your lands because of the latest “invasion”. Unless you come to your senses and exercise some common sense. It will not be taken from you, you will instead give it away. You may once again need to be Liberated. Crusaders may be in short supply. Your own doing will be your undoing. It is hard to save one from ones self. I do pray for Europe and the citizens of Europe everyday. I pray that you come to your senses before it is too late.

Do not look to be Liberated again from “across the pond”. We too seem too be lacking in the area of exercising some common sense. We may just be too busy to come to your aid, not because we don’t want to, but because we won’t be able to. I also pray for this Republic and the citizens of this Republic everyday. I also pray that we come to our senses before it is too late.

I and many others have said that not all Muslims, followers of Islam, are terrorists. It is time for the non-terrorist Muslims, followers of Islam, to step forward and prove it. Not with words but with deeds.

Reclaiming a little America Sovereignty

Withdrawing from the non-binding climate thingy was the best news possible for this Republic. Reclaiming a little of American Sovereignty. The Liberal Leftist Socialist Progressives are going nuts, again a good thing.

I did set a fishing pole(rod and reel)and associated fishing tackle on the front and back porches of my home just in case the seas did begin to rise. The front porch faces east towards the Atlantic ocean, the back porch faces west towards the Gulf of Mexico. I also removed the tie-downs on my boat, again just in case. I keep going out to check, nothing yet.

I wonder if the rise in sea levels would be effected any if every Climate Activist would jump in to the Oceans and Seas of the world. I know that they worry so(they claim)over the Polar Bears, I thought that by now they would be swimming north to save the poor Polar Bears. Haven’t heard of any activists swimming in any direction as of yet.

Well that is enough humor, for now at least. On to more serious matters.

I do believe that God made a promise, a promise recorded in the Bible. One by which he would not Destroy the World again with Water. A promise sealed with a Rainbow. Maybe the Liberal Leftist Socialist Progressives forgot that little tidbit. The Rainbow symbolizes a Promise from God, it does not symbolize the alternative lifestyle of some people. Using the most beautiful Promise from God to mankind to represent the most perverted lifestyle does not have any thing to do with fulfilling a Promise.

Perhaps if God had not been kicked out of the Schools and almost every other aspect of everyday life, by the Liberal Leftist Socialist Progressives, more people would come to the realization that Water will never be used to destroy the World again. It also amazes me that so many clergymen believe in the rising sea levels being a threat to mankind. The Rainbow in the sky appears before, during and after rain and sometimes for no reason at all. When I see one I am reminded of the Promise, the Promise from God, to me it says Fear Not.

Moving on again.

Carrying on an American tradition. The withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord was basically an act of Secession. It was not Treason or anything of the like. It was a single(first)step towards reclaiming American Sovereignty. The whole thing as written was bad for America. President Trump knew it was bad for America, he did the right thing by Seceding from it. Seceding from the Paris deal was the right thing to do, the right thing for America to do. America should have never been in it to start with.

America had in the past removed itself from things that were harmful to America. Remaining in a union with Great Britain in 1776, for instance was and would be harmful to America. America seceded from Great Britain. America did not consider the opinion of Great Britain, or the opinion the rest of the world for that matter. America did what was best for America, and should always do so.

Are the Climate Activists now going to wage war against America and force America back into the Paris Accords? Much Like the U.S. Government and the Northern States did in dealing with the Southern States when they seceded.

There is perhaps many more acts of Secession America should engage in. One that I would like to see is that America secede from the United Nations. Yes, I would like to see America secede from the United Nations and then promptly kick their butts out of this Sovereign Republic. Remaining in the United Nation provides no benefit for America.

Do you think the rest of the member nations would be foolish enough to wage a war against America in an attempt force America back into the United Nations at the point of a Bloody Bayonet?

Long live the spirit of Secession. While that spirit lives the American Spirit is Live and Well. Perhaps with a little helping of Nullification.

One last bit of humor before closing.
Went to check the rising Ocean Levels, nothing yet. If the Ocean will not come to me then by God, I will go to it. It looks like I will still have to buy a House Boat to be able to fish from the porch of my house. Perhaps I will instead buy a Mobile Home and fit it with pontoons, just in case. That way I would have a home if the sea levels rise and then recede again. The mobile home with pontoons is a much better idea, two for one, as house boats tend to lean a bit when on dry land, unless it is a flat bottom house boat. Oh, the decisions we must face.

It would seem that many, if not most people here in this Republic have forgotten just what today is about. Today is Memorial Day, not the “unofficial first day of Summer”. It is also not a “sales marketing event”. Today we honor the fallen, the fallen in service to this Republic, the war dead, the Fallen Warriors.

Perhaps it would aid some to put today in perspective if they would just learn or know the name of just one Fallen Warrior, his or her story. Where he or she hailed from. The date of the fallen warriors birth. The date of the fallen warriors death. The country where the fallen warrior died, or if the fallen warrior was lost at sea. The name of the Battle that claimed the life of the fallen warrior. The name of the Church the fallen warrior attended. The name of the Schools the fallen warrior attended. What the fallen warrior wanted to be, and would have been if things had turned out different. The name of the Cemetery, or in which body of Water where the fallen warrior now lies. Most importantly the family of the fallen warrior. Think of the families of the fallen warrior for just a moment. Think what must be going through their minds. Think of the loss they feel each and every day, the part of their life that is missing. That loss will be forevermore. The people of today who have never put one thing on the line have no consideration of the families of the fallen.

On your way to the “Memorial Day Sale” stop by a cemetery and say a word of thanks to a Fallen Warrior. There is no need to thank the Store for having the sale. It was not the Store that brought you the savings. It is and was the Fallen Warrior who made it possible for you to go to the “Memorial Day Sales”. You reap the rewards for the sacrifices of others. You get the savings. What does the fallen Warrior get in return for his or her sacrifice? At your “Memorial Day” barbeque today, set a place for at least one Fallen Warrior. You barbeque was made possible by the sacrifice of a Fallen Warrior.

When you get some “down time” later today or even tonight take a moment to ask yourself this question. If the Fallen Warrior were to look down on what his or her sacrifice has become, he or she may ask the question; Was it worth it?

Imagine This

A War is being waged, not just any War but a Civil War, bot just any Civil War but a Political Civil War. A Civil War between political factions, within the same country. A country that is divided along political lines. Two opposing “armies” readying for battle. Two countries within a single country, like parasites, so I shall call them parasites. Each trying to remake(reconstruct)the host nation in the image of the parasite. For simplicity I will call one parasite RNC and the other parasite DNC. Each parasite has its own president or dictator. Each parasite has its own mascot. The mascot for the parasite RNC is an elephant(pachyderm). The mascot for the parasite DNC is a donkey(jack ass). Each parasite has a notional color. RNC is Red. DNC is Blue. Each parasite has a National Flag which also serves as its Battle Flag. RNC has a Red Flag. DNC has a Blue Flag. For simplicity for the Remainder of this post, unless special circumstances arise, I will refer to them as Red Forces and Blue Forces.

For many years the Red and Blue Forces have been locked in a struggle, political struggle, for total and absolute control for the Republic known as the United States of America. In years past the Red and Blue Forces took to the field in July preceding the November elections. That was then this is now. These days the political “season” never ends. The elected members of Congress spend more time campaigning and fund-raising than they do in governing this Republic. They simply have found it easier and more beneficial for and to them to Govern less and Rule more. The map of this republic during the election season represents the political parties. It does not represent the Freedoms and Liberties that the Continental Army fought so hard for. The political battles of the past and those of the present have caused this Republic to become a nation of “Untied” States. Sadly, this Republic is no longer United in Cause or Vision. The common bonds that held this Republic together are becoming strained, and in some cases non-existent. Much like a rubber band stretched to the point of breaking, at some point it will snap if the tension remains high.

History does repeat itself and each time it does it becomes increasingly expensive. Take a look back in history and see the root cause of almost all “Civil Wars”. You will find Politics and political factions have caused almost all civil wars. The rest was caused by Despotic Tyrannical Governments.

Now, back to the Political Civil War. Picture this in your mind. The Red and Blue Forces are preparing to meet each other again.
The president/dictator(Chair) of RNC has placed the Red Forces on full alert. The Generals are putting on their uniforms and alerting all subordinate units. Big Business is activated. The Special Interest Groups are activated. Donors are contacted as funding for the battle will be needed.
The president/dictator(Chair)of DNC has placed the Blue Forces on full alert. The Generals are putting on their uniforms and alerting all subordinate units. The main stream media outlets are activated. The colleges and universities are activated. They may have a hard time activating the ones who are in their safe-spaces. Special Interest groups are activated. Rioters disguised as protesters are activated. Donors are contacted as funding for the battle will be needed.

Now you are really going to work hard to even visualize this part, a true stretch of the imagination. Picture this.
General Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the House, standing there in his uniform. Rallying the Red Forces in the House. He is the one chosen to lead them into battle.
General Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader, standing there in his uniform. Rallying the Red Forces in the Senate. He is the one chosen to lead them into battle.
General Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader, standing there in her uniform. Rallying the Blue Forces in the House. She is the one chosen to lead them into battle.
General Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader, standing there in his uniform. Rallying the Blue Forces in the Senate. He is the one chosen to lead them into battle.
(Almost fell out of my chair typing that part, what with laughing so hard.)
Each of their Lieutenants doing their part to rally all of the subordinate and supporting units.

That is damned hard to imagine ain’t it? Would you really follow those clowns anywhere or for any reason. Look at the members of Congress. Would you really be foolish enough to let them lead you anywhere? Hell, I would not even follow them down a hallway. I mean really, just look at them.(ROTFLMFAO)

This is the scene that plays out everyday in “The Swamp”(Washington D.C.). The Red Forces fighting for total and absolute control of everything in and about this Republic. The Blue Forces doing the same thing. Both the Red and Blue forces have the same goal in mind, they only argue about which path to take.

When all the seats in Congress are filled, there are a total of 535 combatants. They never suffer, the only time they become a casualty is when they either lose an election or get caught with their hand(s) in the “cookie jar”. By far the greatest number of casualties in this Political Civil War come from the citizens of the Republic, most often those in the middle-class. The political parties may from time to time suffer a minor setback, but they rebound. The Republic however, may not rebound from all the set backs caused by this continuing Political Civil War.

Each passing day proves my ancestors were correct.

Fake Right, Go Left and Run Out the Clock

The describes the entire “playbook” of the Establish Republicans, three plays that have worked time and again. During the primaries and election they fake a move to the right. After they get elected they go left. While holding office they run out the clock. And presto before you know it the cycle starts again.

Way back when the republicans, in the House and the Senate wanted to repeal Obamacare as it was such a disaster. They were the minority Party and a democrat was in the White House. Now they want to replace Obamacare. Now they are the Majority Party and a republican is in the White House. What happened to Repeal? Now the plan is to Repeal and Replace. Yea, like the republican plan won’t be a disaster. It is apparent that neither party believes that the citizens are capable of making their own decisions when it comes to healthcare or much of anything else. Neither party, democrat or republican, represents one thing about this Republic. They instead represent themselves, their party, their donors and the special interest groups.

The first time the establishment republicans in the House tried, half-heartedly, at their repeal and replace they were unsure they would have enough votes to go forward, so it was pulled from the table. Now the House has narrowly passed a bill on the way to the Senate. A bill in the House that some or most whether they voted for or against never even bothered to read. That kind of sounds like the same thing the Democrats did when they passed Obamacare, remember “You have to pass it to find out what is in it”. Most of them never bothered to read it they just voted to pass it, no democrat opposition and no republican support. This time no democrat support and only a few republicans in opposition. It would seem that some republicans now think that Obamacare is the best thing since sliced bread. It is all about the political party machine and nothing about this Republic. Power and Control. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

The Senate republican leadership said that the House bill is dead on arrival. The republican leadership in the Senate will most likely will have the “best minds” available working on the Senate’s solution to Obamacare. The Senate will of course take their time to “get it right”. Apparently the Senate had no confidence in the House bill. It is entirely possible that the House did get it all wrong. They had to get something going, even if it was as bad or worse than Obamacare. Acting a little desperate. They would just use the excuse, this was just the beginning, we can always “tweak it” later. The democrats often say, “we did not go far enough”. The republicans often say, “this was just the first step, “we can tweak it later”. Actually both are saying the same thing, just using different words. Both mean that there is more they can do or should do.

The House, all 435 seats and 1/3 of the Senate are up for re-election next November. If something positive doesn’t happen and soon the voters will remember that they were shafted again. But maybe this is the plan. Do nothing as always. Maybe the republicans are willing to lose the House or The Senate, perhaps both, just to keep things as they are. No matter what the politicians remain in power. The Majority Leader will simply become the Minority Leader. If the House and/or the Senate falls into the hands of the democrats, or if the republicans keep the House and/or the Senate, Obamacare will be with us until something worse comes along. Single payer healthcare is just over the horizon. But then that was the plan all along. It will surely arrive, just as soon as one party finally goes far enough, or when the other party finishes tweaking. The only delay is that the parties haven’t yet decided who wants the credit if it works or the blame if it does not work.

What is needed and has been needed for far too long is a serious third-party, not some fringe party. I had thought the TEA Party was the answer. It was one heck of a “grass-roots” effort, I admire what they stood for and for what they tried to accomplish. It was too bad the Politicians hi-jacked the movement, it could have really been something.

We have had enough politicians.

In name only my backside

I’m thinking over the course of the next few weeks and months the republicans in Congress are going to reveal something or possibly many things about themselves to the Peoples of this Republic. Now that the “fix” for Obamacare has been pulled of the table, and the spending bill continues the government pretty much as it was, still funding the things that the so-called republican conservatives promised they would fight. By the way still no Wall.

Concerning Obamacare, now I understand that some republican congress critters all of a sudden love it. They have been referred to as “moderate republicans”, last I heard it was 18 of them. They do not want to change a thing. This has led to the term RINO’s(Republican In Name Only)being bandied about. I have no idea when or where the term RINO’s came about, and I really do not care. I had even referred to some republicans as being a RINO. I no longer do that. I began to referring to them as CINO’s(Conservatives In Name Only). I will no longer do that either. Quite frankly there is not other name to attach to them other than republican.

Since I am of the opinion that the republican party is the party of “big government and big business”, has been since the days of the federalist party and still is today. I would like to say that I do not believe that there is any such thing as a moderate republican. It is impossible. Being a “moderate republican” would be the same as a woman being almost pregnant. You are either a republican or you are not, one can only be pregnant or not. I mean after all what would a moderate republican stand for, a moderate government in size and power?

Let me get back to this Obamacare thing for just a minute. The democrats passed Obamacare without a single republican supporting it. So you must have been opposed to it right? None of you claimed that their was one good part or thing about it. If you were opposed to it, it would make good sense that you get rid of it now. You claimed then if you had control of the House you could get rid of it. You got control of the house. You did not manage to get rid of it. Them you said that if you got control of the Senate you could get rid of it. You got control of the Senate. You did not manage to get rid of it. Then you said if only you had control of the White House you could get rid of it. Your party now has control of the House, the Senate and the White House. You still can’t seem to get rid of it. You just did not get the president you wanted or expected. I might also mention that each and every spending bill including the latest one fully funds Obamacare. Come on admit it, you love the damn thing don’t you?

I think the American voters have been had, yet again. No, I know that we have been had. You have no intention of getting rid of Obamacare, never had never will. The democrats did for you what you would not do for you. Obamacare gave the federal government even more control over the American people and their lives. You are not going to give back that power. You will never repeal Obamacare. If you do replace it, it will with a republican plan, it will still be a government plan that controls people’s lives. You will win, we will lose.

Now let’s get to Planned Parenthood for just a moment. You were appalled when the videos were released of baby parts being sold. Where is your anger now? You funded them again. You’ve funded them every time. Explain that to me. You really weren’t appalled were you?

If the government was about to be shut down because the money was running out, where did you come up with the over 1 Trillion Dollars in your spending bill? You did not borrow it did you? You always wait for the very last minute and then come up with a bill that runs at least one thousand pages and piles of money. Was it just more smoke and mirrors? Political drama.

Since the new spending bill will take the government through the end of September you are pretty much finished for the year. You can now start planning your summer vacation. Lord knows you need one, what with being overworked and all. By the way do stop by and tell us of all the wonderful things you have accomplished. You will come back just in time to do a panic spending bill again. More political drama. I mean after you must not let the government shutdown. What would we do?

Now let me get back to your big government for just a minute. Both parties are all about the growth of government. The democrats are at least honest about it, where you deceive the voters at every turn. We, the voters that have been supporting you for so long have just been slapped in the face, again. It would seem that the republican party is the party of watch what we do, do not worry about what we say, when it comes to government. You are like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The campaigning republican is not the same one that gets sworn into office.

Now let’s talk about your so-called principles for a bit. Some of you would not support President Trump during his campaign, you said doing so against your principles. It would seem that building up debts and running deficits as far as the eye can see is not against your principles. It would also seem that funding Planned Parenthood, an organization you claim to despise, does not go against your principles. It would further seem that stopping or even controlling illegal entry into this Republic would go against your principles. It would seem that the only thing that does go against your principles is losing an election. I don’t know but I have a suspicion that the very same ones who would not support President Trump then are the same ones who are fighting so hard against him now.

You are not Conservatives or Constitutional Conservatives, no matter your claims or the claims of the talking heads. You are republicans, plain and simple. I still would rather be in the company of Skunk than a republican politician. Go ahead prove me wrong.

I might add that the only reason that the conservatives even hang out in you party is that we don’t have any where to else to go. Not yet anyway.

On a personal note. Still looking for a political home. A couple looked “promising”. But that is what you have been doing for years. Promising and never delivering. Probably going to opt to be politically homeless.

Excuse me, your roots are showing

I’m just shocked, shocked I say. Imagine that, out of the Blue comes a spending bill today that fully funds the government through September. Many in America should be seeing Red today, I know I am. No wall no nothing. Leviathan stays in place just as it was and growing, and just as it will be, always growing.

What has happened is further proof that the political interests reign supreme. You in Congress care not about this Republic or its survival. What you do care about is the continued existence and survival of your parties. You will obviously to do what ever is necessary to insure the survival and existence of your parties even if it brings about the total and absolute destruction of this Republic.

Let me remind you of your roots. The Republican Party of today descended from the Free Soil Party, which descended from the Whig Party which descended from the Federalist Party. Quite a history you have. You, the republicans, claim to be the party of Lincoln and of Regan. That may be true but you leave out so much. You throw the name Lincoln around for the benefit of ending slavery. You throw the name of Regan around claiming that he was the most Conservative president in recent history. Even with this you leave out so much. I will get into your “poster children” in later posts. This post is about your party, the one I belong to at this moment, but I am looking for a new political home, short of finding one I may settle for becoming and being politically homeless.

So let’s begin. You are now and always have been the party of “big government” all the way back to Hamilton, Adams and so many more. It was your political ancestors who forced the Alien and Sedition Acts on this Republic. A period of time when speaking out against government or government policies could land a man in prison, force him to pay a fine or both. A time when legal immigration was to say the least, difficult. The year 1798. It was also your political ancestors who gave us what would become the Federal Reserve. The Income Tax, along with the IRS. Shall I continue, or do you wish me to stop? To bad, I shall continue. You have always been and always be the party of Big Business and the interests of big business. You engage in the practice of imposing tariffs that protect big business.

The republican party was never the party of Conservatives, most of you do not know what Conservatism is. Most of those that do know what Conservatism is run from it as if it were the Devil himself. This goes for the talking heads as well. Conservatives believe in a small federal government with strictly limited powers. Conservatives believe that the infinite powers belong to and are retained by the States respectively or to the People. That makes the federal government subservient to the States and the People.

Here are just two of the reasons, many reasons, the republican party can never lay claim to being the party of Conservatism. The EPA was established under a Republican administration. DHS was established during a republican administration. You will use any reason or excuse to grow government. Doesn’t sound like the strictly limited federal government Thomas Jefferson wanted.

Now you send a spending bill to President Trump that funds the government through September. Is funding for Planned Parenthood included? Is funding for the Refugees included? Is funding for Obamacare included? Is funding for the Wall included?

I am sure that this was a bi-partisan effort. The political parties won and America loses again. Did each party get a little something out of this? Just how many pages was this?

It was Lincoln and the big government republicans that laid waste to the South for 4 long years. You were satisfied with that. It was the republicans that sent to South into ruination with reconstruction. Apparently you republicans are not satisfied yet.

You big government republicans politicians along with your big government democrat allies will lay waste to the entirety of this Republic. When you finish that task, you then will send this Republic in to ruination with some sort of reconstruction. Will you then be satisfied? Probably not.

Each day that passes only proves my ancestors correct.
