Got another one…

..it came in the mail just a couple of days ago. I got another questionnaire in the mail from the RNC, they wanted it back in seven days so as to ensure accurate tabulation and dependable results. They did not get the last 2 back and this one will meet the same fate. The election is over by just barely a month(less in some places)in which the GOP managed to lose control of the House. If you have never received one of these you have no idea what you are missing, if you have gotten them in the past you know exactly what I am talking about. It is divided into 5 sections with questions in each section. I will not bore you with all of the questions but I will answer one from each section for your enjoyment, if you would be kind enough to indulge me.
Section 1 Political Profile, with 10 thought-provoking questions, I will answer #7.
Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of the Republican Party? The choices are Favorable, Unfavorable and Unsure(These people are so pathetic, the choices should have been Yes or No). My answer is NO! Though they did not give room to elaborate, so I will elaborate here. When you are not in control you moan and groan because you are not in control and can get nothing done, when you are in control you moan and groan and still get little or nothing done, like you were not in control. You had the purse strings and still could not get the wall funded. Why?(Read a story a while back on how to train and elephant. Three things are needed a young elephant, a large tree and a strong rope. Find it and read it you will enjoy it, the mascot of the GOP is after all an elephant.)
Section 2 General Issues, with 8 thought-provoking questions, I will answer #2.
Do you think the Democrat House will work with President Trump to address the critical issues facing our nation? The choices are Yes, No and Unsure(again this was a yes or no question).
My answer would be NO! Here is my elaboration, You did not why should they?
Section 3 Domestic Issues, with 18 thought-provoking questions. I will answer #5.
Do you believe Obamacare should be repealed and replaced or simply fixed? The choices are Repealed and Replaced, Fixed and Unsure(again they gave 3 possible answers to a 2 choice question).
Here is my elaboration(as you did not give a choice I could mark). What the hell ever happened to just plain old repeal Obamacare?
Section 4 National Defense with 9 thought-provoking questions. I will answer #5.
Do you agree with the Republicans’ commitment to continue to fully fund a “missile defense shield” for our nation for our nation to protect us from future missile threats? The choices are Yes, No and No Opinion(once again 3 choices, the only options should have been yes or no).
My elaboration, It does not matter one iota if I agree with your commitment, it does, however matter that you “Honor” your commitment. Let’s face it you have not made a “habit” of honoring you commitments or your promises.
Section 5 Certification and Reply with only 1 thought-provoking question. Allow me to answer that one question.
Rather that type all of this crap let me summarize. This is where they are begging for money. I aint sending the RNC one red cent, not one. What I find especially amusing is that if you cant send a donation right now they want you to enclose $15 to help pay for the cost of processing this crap. They did not even enclose a pre-paid envelope, they want $15 and a stamp. Well, cupcake you will get neither from me, again.

So, to the clowns at the RNC if you happen across this you can pretty guess how the rest of your questions would have been answered.

Your cover letter indicated that a similar survey this year made all the difference in maintaining control of the Senate and you won many other elections. In case you missed it you lost the House. By the way is not the clown holding up judicial nominations a republican? How much RNC money was used to get him into the Senate? You really expect me to give money that will fund the campaigns of even more like him? Is he and those like him acting in America’s best interest or their own?

criminals(men and women)will not obey the Law and Word of God, then what could ever possibly make anybody think that they will obey the law and word of mankind? God already said “Thou shall not murder. Another mass shooting(murder)and more calls and demands for gun-control.

The left as well as those who favor gun-control push what they call “common sense” measures. The problem is that those measures will only apply to law-abiding citizens, they will not apply to the criminal element in our midst.

Look at it this way, when permits to carry are denied to law-abiding citizens they simply do not carry. The criminal has no intention of applying for a carry permit, in fact the criminal will carry and would carry no matter what the law says or does. The only thing accomplished here is that a person who could have been “allowed” to have in possession a means to prevent himself from being a victim was instead “allowed” to be come a victim.

It is one thing to have the means and capability to defend oneself or another and choose to not exercise that option. It is quite another when one is denied the means to defend oneself or another leaving them no option.

At this point I am going to have to admit ignorance, I am at least partially ignorant of the laws particular to California as to where a person can carry or can not carry. As a matter of fact on that point I do not know all of the laws of the other 48 states or D.C. either. At this point in time there is no need for me to know the gun laws in or of the other 49 states or D.C. as there is no chance in the foreseeable future of me venturing out of the state of Florida, so I shall remain blissfully ignorant. Even if I were to leave the state of Florida there are some states I would avoid like the plague based on what little I do know of your gun laws.

What I do know are the gun laws that pertain to Florida as well as the Federal Laws. I know where I can carry and where I can not carry. When I do have to visit a place where I can not carry I conduct my business and depart. If a business I visit has a no gun policy, I simply turn and walk away never to revisit. He/she made their choice and I made mine. My point here is that I follow the law, and this is exactly what the criminal element counts on. They count on us to follow the law.

I would venture to say that the vast majority of these mass shootings(murders)are conducted in the shooters(murderers)home state, home town, nearby town or at the very least a state the murderer is very familiar with. If the murderer is in his/her home state then it is very likely that he/or she knows the laws for that state or at least some of them. The same is true if the murderer is in a state they are familiar with. Operating in familiar territory has advantages, for instance these mass murderers want “big numbers”. They will not achieve “big numbers” if they choose a target in which the intended victims have a means to fight back. There is a reason why these mass murders never happen at or are even attempted at a “cop shop”. They want a “soft” target they do not want a “hard” target, they do not even want a target of unknown softness or hardness. They will pass up hard, possibly hard, possibly soft just to focus on a “known soft” target.

The murderers use the law to their benefit(advantage)in racking up numbers. It is not the tool(gun)that gives them the advantage, what gives them the advantage is the lack of opposition.

Now is a good time to bring up few points.

First, the criminal element does not give one hoot about the Second Amendment. As a matter of fact they see the Second Amendment as a hinderance to their criminal enterprise. An armed populace is the last thing they want and what they fear most.

Second, the criminal element is probably and most likely among the gun-control cult. The more restrictions that can and will be placed on the law-abiding public means that there are fewer obstructions for the criminal element to overcome. The criminal element is probably the loudest voice in the gun-control cult.

Third, the common sense gun control measures they push benefit the criminal element while they only effect and burden the law-abiding citizens.

Fourth, the ones bank-rolling this cult do so with armed, heavily armed, security at their side or at least very near. You can bet that what restrictions they want placed on the public will not apply to them.

I do have to wonder about the motivation of any government at any level that would start legislating away the rights and liberties of the population. They promise more security if you give up a little liberty. A quote attributed to Benjamin Franklin goes something like this, “Any society that will give up a little liberty for little security will deserve neither and lose both”. But even with the promise of increased security they have admitted that nothing can stop all of these mass murders. Yet their favorite mantra is “We just did not go far enough”.

Let us look at some of their common sense measures.
A national registry of firearms. Historically speaking this had led to disaster for the population registering their personal firearms. Registration leads to confiscation, even if only of political opponents. It would be difficult to confiscate firearms unless one were to know where they were and who had them.
Universal background checks. Each time you buy a firearm from a FFL you must do the paperwork and pass a background check.
Close the gun show loophole. One can not close what does not exist. If you want a background check done on all firearm sales, including private(between individuals)just say it.
A ban on the AR and AK platforms, which will morph into a ban on all semi-automatic rifles, which will morph into a ban on a semi-automatic anything, which will morph into a ban on their next “demon” until we are left with nothing but sticks and rocks.
A gun violence tax. A per bullet tax. A gun buy-back. A background check to by ammunition. Limits on magazine capacity. Bans on bump-fire stocks. The list just goes on and on.

Please note that none of the above will affect the criminals in the least.

In the past they claimed they did not want to stop us from hunting, sport shooting or target practicing, well that was pretty generous of them considering. But it was not all that long ago they said they thought it was time to repeal the Second Amendment.

We now wait to see what laws are shoved down the throats of law-abiding gun owners in the states now in control and those that will be in the control of the anti-gun left.

We are living in interesting times.

Well that is over

Election 2018 is over and in the history books, save for a few places. The republicans managed to lose the House but made some gains in the Senate. President Trump is still President Trump. Congratulations to Governor-elect DeSantis and Lt. Governor-elect Nunez. Still waiting on the Senate race to be settled.

Today the political strategists will be out trying to find out what went wrong so they can explain how they lost, especially those that thought the race was in or should have been in the bag.

Many a pundit and talking head had claimed this election would be a referendum on President Trump. They claimed his “rhetoric” was dividing the nation and he was himself a threat to the Constitution.

Last night was in all actuality a referendum on Congress. I would think that we conservatives know good and well why the republicans lost control of the House, and it aint President Trump or demographics. I personally was surprised by the gains in the Senate. I think the democrat senators sealed their fate during the circus that was the Supreme Court nominee confirmation hearing and votes. Some of their antics before, during and after the vote looks to have taken their toll.

The voters have chosen a left of center House and a right of center Senate, looks as though they are putting both parties on notice. It is much easier to change the House than it is to change the Senate. A wrong choice in the house can be fixed in two years. The country as a whole is not ready to go left, some states yes, the country no. As to both parties be put on “notice”, I believe the message they, those in Congress, should get from the results of this election is “it is time, past time, to get your feces together”.

So now we have a divided Congress, a democrat controlled House and a republican controlled Senate. What will come of that divided Congress? Both parties call for bi-partisanship, reaching across the aisle. Will we have bi-partisan cooperation or obstruction? We will know that answer in January.

The left of center House still has their own agenda to pursue, and pursue it they will. They will try to attach their agenda to must pass bills, after all Congress holds the purse strings. They will not give up on their gun control agenda, they could attach some of their so-called commonsense gun control measures to other legislation like funding for the wall. In order to get some funding for the wall some gun rights would have to be given up. They could attach citizenship guarantees for DACA to military funding. No citizenship no money. How many government shut-downs will we be threatened with, and how many will we have to endure? Will we be held hostage by our own government? How obstinate will they be before the new congress convenes?

You see my friends we aint out of the woods yet.

Actually it aint over, it is never over, it is just a lull. The campaigning will begin again in January, testing the waters began some time back. Future presidential hopefuls heading out to Iowa, New Hampshire and several other key states and events giving speeches. Hoping to become the next “rock star” of their party.

Well at least my mailbox will get a break.

Then what,…

… how do you get back from there? Another woman has come forward to accuse the Supreme Court nominee of inappropriate sexual behavior. Now two have made allegations and the Judge denies the allegations. So just who are we to believe? Do we believe the one(s)making the allegations simply because they are women? Do we believe the one denying the accusations because he is an honorable Judge?

If I were to guess every democrat senator believes the accusations of both and nary a one believes the Judges denials. If any more surface they will believe them as well. Based on what? A letter that had been sat on for weeks if not months. The Senator was the second one to see the letter. She was also the last until it became apparent that the Judge was a shoo-in to become an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court. Why did not the existence of the letter come up during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings, its existence was known of by at least two people? Neither said anything. Why was the letter not immediately forwarded to the FBI? Is it possible that the letter would have disappeared if the Judge was not such an apparent shoo-in?

In my opinion it was never about seeking justice for the accuser, it was about politics.

The democrats and some republicans are wanting a through investigation before any further vote on confirmation is taken. Is this just a delaying tactic until the November mid-terms?

Now what happens? Are we going to see another delay in the confirmation vote? Will there be an investigation in the allegations before a vote is taken on confirmation? Who will conduct the investigation? By all accounts he has already passed more than one background check. The democrats seem content to believe her over him. In their minds he is guilty, but because of what? Are we now seeing a presumption of guilt? What happened to presumed innocent until proven guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt?

What happens if the Judge is not confirmed to the Supreme Court? Will he get to keep his old job on the Court of Appeals? While he be forced to resign? If these allegation(s)are enough to keep him from being on the Supreme Court, are they not serious enough to remove from his current position? The democrats have suggested they would conduct an investigation if the republicans were to push his nomination through without an investigation and the democrats take control. The impeachment word was uttered. The democrat senators by most accounts have already determined the outcome, seems pretty biased to me.

What about the accuser having an old grudge to settle? Ruining the life of and livelihood of an individual, even if in the process they ruin their own lives. My guess is that none involved will ever have a normal life or even the hopes of one ever again. But there is probably a book deal in the works.

Is this the path we now take? When or where will this end? Will at some point an investigation be conducted into every member of Congress, every Judge, indeed every one in government and finally down to the civilian population because someone made an accusation? What happens if whoever is doing the investigation or conducting the hearing have a bias, political or personal? How could one hope for a fair and impartial investigation?

Will at some point a secret police be brought into existence? Something like the Stasi Police or a Secret Society. Kind of casts a new light on a text message exchange, does it not. No, no we will stop it.

Imagine if such an organization existed. Or even an organization within an organization. That secret organization would be able to determine just who is “fit” to serve in government.

Should we be on this path there is no way back.

If I were to guess

So many people are talking about the op-ed written by an anonymous source concerning the goings on in the White House in general and the President specifically. The unnamed individual claims to be a senior official in the administration. Many are throwing names out as to who the anonymous source is. Historically speaking people who engage in efforts of this kind are general one that have left an organization, mostly because their feelings got hurt and they seek revenge.

Perhaps this source was an official and perhaps not, I go with the not. The person who wrote this does exist and much effort will be expended in running that source down. I read yesterday that there were experts working on identifying the individual who wrote it. Some claim they can find the author based on his writing style and words or wording used.

Anyway my guess is this person has a working knowledge of psy-ops(psychological warfare). If so the sole objective would be to place distrust in and between the administration. It would divide the administration, which is a part of the old tactic divide and conquer. I also question the timing of the publishing of the op-ed, right after a trial and a plea along with other legal dealings and just before a book was to be released.

Back to the divide and conquer tactic, if an enemy is to strong to attack and defeat head on then one must divide the enemy making it possible to defeat him. One of the easiest ways to accomplish this is build distrust among the target. Another way to divide and conquer an enemy is to overwhelm them with small “brush fires” they must continually try to extinguish, in this one they divide themselves. It appears that both are being used.

There is an old quote attributed to President Lincoln whether he made it is not important, what is important is the wording. A house divided against itself can not stand. My question is does this apply to the White House. The left is still trying to oust the President, a duly and Constitutionally elected President. They will use any and all means available to them “the ends justify the means”.

On a side note watched some of the confirmation hearings. Embarrassment at some of those senators would be an understatement.

What has become of America’s younger generations?

Let’s face it many of the youth including the twenty and thirty somethings have no role models, meaningful role models. How many of the males(young boys and men)want to be like their fathers? Hard working God-fearing men. How many of them actually know their fathers and in many cases how many know who their father is?

Their behavior indicates they lack a moral compass. They lack a moral compass because they were never taught right and wrong. Lacking a moral compass leads to believing that wrong is right and right is wrong.

Many mothers did and still do an outstanding job raising their children in the absence of a father. Raising boys to be men and girls to be women. Sadly in todays America those types of mothers are the exception rather than the rule. Not to leave out the men, many men raised and are raising children in the absence of a mother. Raising boys to be men and girls to be women. And again, those types of fathers are the exception rather than the rule.

This post applies equally to men(fathers)and women(mothers), though the rest of this post is written for men(fathers).

So what happened?
Personal accountability and responsibility were thrown out the window. Today the father has no responsibility. Why should he when the government will assume that responsibility? Irresponsibility is thrown at us every day. Have you heard the commercial where a company says you are not responsible(do not let the credit card company trick you into thing that you have to repay your credit card debt)for the money you owe the credit card company? Why are you not responsible for the debt you accumulated? You knew the terms when you applied for the card. You got the card on trust, trust in you repaying the debt. Yes, you owe the money to the credit card company, every last penny. You overspent then that is your problem and fault the credit card company is holding you accountable and responsible. By the same token you are responsible for every child you father.

Government assumed the role of the father, providing for his family. Government is closing in on assuming the role of the mother as well. The family unit is being destroyed. Today children are no longer being raised at home, they are instead being raised by the school system, the government school system. Children are entering the school system younger and younger as young as 3 or 4. Nowadays there is pre-k and pre-pre k. I understand in some states this is a requirement and in others voluntary. There was even a major political figure that made the claim that it takes a village to raise a child. Well what happens when that village has no moral compass?

Think on this for just a minute. Parenting classes. Why does anyone need parenting class. That is something you should have learned long ago from your parents or parent as the case may be. Then you have to wonder who wrote the curriculum for those classes and why is it necessary?

Some parents must be looking for an instruction book for children. If you are, I have good news for you, there is an instruction manual, there has always been one. The Holy Bible.

I doubt your leader in the parenting class will ever recommend that instruction manual.

Proverbs chapter 22 verse 6 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.

This comes from the King James Study bible. The verse stresses the simple principle that education in the home forms the man throughout his lifetime.

Nowhere does it say to hand of your child to government and it certainly does not say to let the village raise your child. Raise your child right and quite possibly the prison population will decrease. Right will always be right and wrong will always be wrong. By the way what did your child learn in those early formative years? What did you learn in those early formative years? What of the next generation?

The Holy Bible will change your life if you read it, study it and meditate over it, then apply(live)it.

The coming ….

The coming civil war. One of the old definitions of civil war is the struggle for control of the government by rival political factions. If you were to apply that definition then this November America will reach the conclusion of another civil war. Every two years the entire House and 1/3 of the Senate set out to do battle, either to remain in power or to take power.

The primaries are now over here in Florida, now the winners of the republican and democrat primaries will set about trying to sell themselves to the voters. One good thing about the primaries being over is that less electioneering material will be cluttering up my mailbox, though it will continue until November.

Here in Marion County there was also a yes or no vote to continue a 1 mil tax for the Marion County School District, for 4 long years. As always when it comes to taxes I voted no, but I am sure the measure will pass. Last election there was a 1% sales tax for the County and it passed. I cant understand why voters continue to vote for higher taxes. Politicians, republican and democrat, do love them some taxes. Whether they impose those taxes or hoodwink the voters into imposing them on themselves. Update it passed with 73% voting yes, good grief.

Any way back to the civil war. When the primaries are all over the fight for control of the government will get underway in earnest. Not only will it for control of the government it will also be for control of the people. Remember government is all about power and control.

For the left(socialist democrats)this up coming election will be about gun control. The NRA will be nowhere on the ballot, that will not deter the left from demonizing the NRA and any politician who accepts donations from the NRA.

I do wish the voters would open their eyes for just a moment and look at those who are screaming the loudest for gun control. The politicians touting gun control are surrounded by armed security personnel. The millionaires and billionaires who fund these groups are surrounded by armed security. When elected to political office they have an entire police force protecting them. Yet they want you to give up your right to protection. It is not about the elimination of firearms, it is about controlling who has firearms.

There has been much speculation over which color the wave will be, red or blue. I look at it this way there is a 50/50 chance the socialist democrats will take either the House or the Senate or both. If you do not believe that then check out the turnout for the primaries in your state. As for me I am not buying into the “walk away” scam, where supposed democrats are saying they have left the democrat party, no not for a minute.

Now let us look at the possibilities coming with the conclusion of this civil war.

The socialist democrats take control of the House of Representatives but the republicans retain control of the Senate. A divided congress, not much in the way of meaningful legislation will make its way to the President. 50/50 chance of impeachment charges against the President, pretty much meaningless the republicans still hold the Senate. Just as meaningless as the republican controlled House and Senate sending legislation repealing the AHA to BHO(oddly enough something they can not do while a republican president sits in the Oval Office)they knew he would veto it.

The socialist democrats gain control of the Senate but the republicans retain the House. Again a divided Congress. Impeachment goes out the window. Impeachment proceedings begin in the House.

The socialist democrats take control of both the House and the Senate. A divided government. No meaningful legislation will get to the president’s desk. 50/50 chance of Impeachment of the president.

On a side note, look for a government shutdown or threat of a shutdown in each of the above scenarios over illegal immigrants(DACA or Dreamers).

Nothing changes, the republicans retain both the House and Senate, President Trump is still President. This one is a double edge sword, both good and bad. The GDP is above 4%, the economy is humming right along and unemployment is at record lows. None of that matters to the left.

This scenario is or should be the one causing law-enforcement the most angst. If this scenario come to fruition the leftist protesters(rioters)will take to the streets the same as when President Trump was elected. This time it could be much worse, and most likely will be. Law-0enforcement could have its hands full and quite possibly could be overwhelmed, unable to maintain law and order.

On a side note look for a government shutdown or threats of a shutdown over illegal immigration(DACA and Dreamers)and/or if the republicans refuse to go along with gun control legislation.

Politically this nation is a “tinder box” and some on the left continue to add gasoline. The confrontations between left wing and right wing groups are becoming increasing violent. When people show up to protest wearing helmets and carrying things that could quickly become weapons or weapons that appear to be something else they are not there to protest or counter protest they instead have come to fight.

At this rate it wont be long until some dumb-ass tosses a lit match into that “tinder box”, then it is gonna be “Katie bar the door”.

It would appear that the social media outlets, the tech giants and the mainstream media have appointed themselves the ministry of truth.
They alone get to decide what is truth at least for today. They alone get to decide who or what gets heard. They are for free speech as long as it fits in with their agenda, depending on what their agenda is for today. That which or who they feel goes against what they call the truth gets thrown down the memory hole.

It would appear that the deep state, including the politicians and their political party, has appointed itself the ministry of love.
What they do to or for us, depending entirely on your perspective, they do out of love.

There are countless historical documents and books but the greatest historical book in existence is the Holy Bible. The Holy bible tells of the past and the future.

They bring the judgement of Heaven on a Country. As nations can not be rewarded or punished in the next world they must be in this. By an inevitable chain of causes and effects Providence punishes national sins, by national calamities. Colonel Mason.

The left and some on the right see the election of President Trump as a national calamity, if that be true they need to figure out what “national sin” brought about that “calamity”. They have blamed everything and everybody but themselves. Scare tactics were even thrown out. They claimed he would destroy the economy, yet the economy is doing well, very well. Unemployment is at or near to record lows. They claimed that he would get us into unending and unwinnable wars, yet the opposite is true. Their forecast of doom and gloom was just an attempt to play on the emotions of the electorate, the emotion of fear. They still to this day and will continue playing on emotions.

Had the establishment, swamp, deep sate or whatever the latest term is had not mucked up everything so badly President Trump would not have ever felt the need to enter the political arena. I believe his answer to a question was, Only if things got so bad he had to. Obviously things got just that bad.

Many see the election of President Trump as a chance to save this Republic, I am of that view.

Now we have the “social media” giants deciding what information is available to the people. So-called “conspiracy theory” sites and individuals are being banned from social media outlets. Terms like “hate speech” are being bandied about. Some so-called conservatives are asking why any conservative would stand up and speak out for Alex Jones and InfoWars. The answer is simple. When they came for me there was no one left to speak out. How long will it be before any opposing view is stifled? History shows what happens when only one view is the acceptable view. History shows what happens when those who propose differing views or theories become enemies of the state. It seems that hate speech and fake news are exclusive and the need of censorship is also exclusive to the right. The left obviously does not have any hate speech or fake news problems, nothing but love and truth abounding within their ranks.

We should be looking at what gave rise to the so-called “conspiracy theory” sites. Could it be the secrecy that shrouds our government? Could it be all of the closed-door hearings? Could it be the cover-ups? Could it be the never-ending leaks? Could it be the abuses of power? The lack of transparency and accountability? Why is it that our government feel the need to conduct business in private? They hide themselves, in darkness, from us the people but there is One they can never hide from. Do they fear the light? There is an interesting story from the Holy Bible about trying to hide ones sins in darkness and secrecy. You will find that in the Book of Joshua, having to do with a sin bringing about a national calamity.

It seems that the socialists are at it again, some of the socialist enclaves are now going to allow anybody to have a say so in the education(indoctrination)process in the government schools, legal citizen or not. People in this country illegally will get to vote in school board elections. It will not end with just illegals voting for school board members, this is just the first step.

Way back when, same-sex marriages began with something as harmless as civil unions. But was that harmless? It culminated with an opinion of the majority of the Supreme Court making same-sex marriage the “law of the land”. Civil unions just opened the door. What door will be opened by allowing illegals to vote in school board elections?

Again I ask, What was it that helped bring about the demise of the Roman Empire? Was it giving citizenship rights and privileges to all?
