Selective enforcement

A terrible door was opened when BHO began on his own, without Congress, delaying aspects of Obamacare and allowing waivers for certain groups. Congress took no action to stop him then, and now can take no action to stop the liberal agenda. The actions of BHO and the inactions of Congress have now ushered in the era of selective enforcement. If the trend of inaction by Congress continues they will give BHO and his administration complete and total control of the government and the people. It will be here, as it was in Nazi Germany when the Enabling Act was made law. The Congress, Parliament as it was known, had no authority to pass legislation, Hitler and his henchmen made and enforced all laws, the Constitution was null and void. The Weimar Constitution was never repealed, it was simply nullified by the Enabling Act. The biggest problem with selective enforcement is that it begins with selecting who the laws are enforced upon and who is exempt from enforcement, as one group is helpless the next group is chosen for enforcement, eventually eliminating all opposition. Think that can not happen here.

The IRS singling out the Tea Party groups was the use of an arm of the administration for enforcement of tax laws and codes. The Tea Party groups had to meet different standards than liberal groups. The silencing of the opposition began with this. Was this action taken by the administration on its own or did congress authorize it? Who will be silenced by the actions of the administration, and the inaction of Congress next? It may even be revealed that some members of Congress approved and encouraged the IRS actions, yes both parties. Added to this the IRS does not pursue tax cheats with the same aggression, some are not pursued at all and even given administration posts, while others are constantly hounded.

The sudden aggression by the BLM, in Bunkerville, has yet to be explained or justified by government.

Then there is this, the training, arming and equipping the law enforcement agencies and agencies in the administration just as well if not better than the military. For what purpose? Is there an external threat being faced in America that the population is unaware of? Is there an internal threat caused by selective enforcement of the borders? Or does the government fear the people? For a liberal administration, with liberal supporters that are so opposed to guns, none have even let out a whimper about the governments acquisition of ammunition, weapons and explosives. Are they really okay with the government having all the guns and power? As pointed out in previous posts the money used to fund the social welfare programs are a constant and unnecessary drain on the national treasure. The public, that is tax, money may be running out, the only money left soon may be personal wealth.

If enforcement of immigration laws is silly, why do we even have and pay for border patrol. If you do not enforce these laws why maintain an agency that is supposed to enforce the laws? What is their purpose? Could they be used to keep the people in that wish to escape persecution? No one is being kept out. The Border Patrol Agents are told to run away and seek cover if an illegal throws rocks at them. Will they have the same orders when people try to escape?

The time for Americans to unite is upon us, we can not let government separate us. What matters to you may not matter to me, and what matters to me may not matter to you, however we must stand for each other. If any group is silenced and falls by the wayside there will be fewer people to defend you, when your time comes, and it will.

What happens when the money finally runs out?

In the American home that is supported by independent, self-reliant, self-sufficient and self-determined, commonly known as responsible, individuals this rarely happens. Why, is answered by this, prioritization, the needs are met first and then the wants. The basic needs of food, clothing and shelter are met first, after these are met the less important needs are met, the last would be the niceties and luxuries. The responsible also manage to save a little to see themselves through disasters, hard times and even retirement. The family budget breaks the money down into separate piles, if the important pile runs low, money must be taken from a less important pile to ensure the more important is accomplished. This is called adjustment to events. If the money being earned is not enough, the responsible will find a way to earn more even if they have to make personal sacrifices. This called self-reliance. The responsible know and understand the value of a dollar because they earned it. These people understand that their financial life is their responsibility and constantly make adjustments and even sacrifices to achieve the goal, even if that means selling possessions. This is called planning.

In the American home that is not supported by independent, self-reliant, self-sufficient and self- determined, commonly known as irresponsible mooching, individuals this always happens. Why, is answered by this, no prioritization, the needs and wants are at the same level of importance, even the wants, niceties and luxuries are sometimes met first. The irresponsible will never save anything for any reason. If the money being given to the irresponsible is not enough to pay for their life and lifestyle they will simply ask for more or steal it. Why, is answered by this, the irresponsible have been taught government dependence, not independence. The irresponsible simply wait for the next government check or social program. These people do not know or understand the value of a dollar because they have not earned it. They do not make personal sacrifices, or adjustments for they have only one goal and one plan, spending other people’s money.

Government has at no time ever earned a single dollar and has become as dangerous as the irresponsible moochers. The irresponsible moochers either do not understand or do not care that the money provided to them by government to finance and pay for their existence was taken by force from the responsible. The irresponsible also do not understand that the money forced from the responsible to operate the government must be broken done in to separate piles to pay for all that the government does do. The piles of money should be filled in order of importance, prioritizing needs and wants. There is a pile for Defense, a pile for Roads, bridges and highways, a pile for education, a pile for just about everything even the welfare programs. If the money in an important pile runs low, the responsible thing to do would be to move money out of a less important pile and put it in the more important pile. But the government is irresponsible and keeps the want pile filled while stripping the need piles. The government is constantly saying that they need additional revenue to operate, in truth they only want more revenue. The needs are not covered, they cover the wants first. Case in point, The VA the second largest department in the federal government has a secret waiting list to meet the needs of injured American service members, but had enough funds to buy new office furniture. Again satisfying a want before a need. Another case in point, BHO saying that the cupboard was going to be bare, concerning bridges and roads, would it not be the responsible thing to do to move funds from a less important pile to the bridges and roads pile after all the responsible need to get to work to support the irresponsible and that includes government. I would say no as demonstrated by government continuing the practice of placing wants before needs. This is corruption at its finest.

I understand bugs are dangerous to agriculture and pose quite a risk and must be dealt with in a harsh and decisive manner but shooting them is a bit much. Arming the Department of Agriculture is being done for one of two reasons, food stamp money may be running low and the hoards will descend on the local agriculture office demanding their government cheese, or they intend to raid and seize the gardens of the responsible.

When the money runs out and it will, the irresponsible will descend on government like a flock of buzzards on road-kill.

The responsible are not the problem and will not be the ones burning down the government offices, it will be the irresponsible. Why, simple the responsible plan for the future and have belief in the future. The responsible know that they are in control, and that one day sanity and prioritization will return to government. The responsible can simply quit being responsible and quit participating and supporting government irresponsibility, but that would be irresponsible. When I buy bananas, I choose those that are still a little green, they will get ripe in time.

Energy wars

The Countries of the world have been stripped or their right to self-determination and The Ukraine is no different. The world was in uproar over the decision of the people of The Crimea to leave the control of The Ukraine and return to Mother Russia. The same thing is happening now in The Ukraine as they try to leave the sphere of influence of the E.U. and return to Mother Russia even if it breaks The Ukraine in half. The “cold war” ended with the collapse of the U.S.S.R., the “cold war” was waged on behalf of the people of the former U.S.S.R., the “free world” saw you as an oppressed people who were denied the right of self-determination and democracy. Sort of a good versus evil thing. You now have and have had the right of self-determination and democracy since the fall of the U.S.S.R. or do you and have you ever. How did your leaders come to power? Did you select them or were they selected for you? You and I both know the answer to that. The “cold War” never escalated into a “hot war”, though there were many smaller wars, kind of getting a “feel” of the other sides weapons and equipment and getting to try your stuff out in battle without risk. The reason it never escalated beyond some taunting moves was because of “Mutually Assured Destruction”(MAD). There could be a new cold war, “cold war2”, which could be waged ironically because The Ukraine acted in a purely democratic way and was attempting self-determination. This time it could escalate quickly into a “hot war”, with many new players, some of which do not care about total destruction, they only want the other side dead no matter the cost to themselves. The major players are already picking sides, the minor players will side with the most beneficial to their own cause. You do not matter you could just be the starting point for what ever comes. When the Ukraine became free and independent your leadership must have missed the part about responsibility and obligations. You now find yourself heavily in debt to Russia and several other countries of the world. Russia may demand payment of the debts, how will you pay them? Will you borrow the money or sell your country off in bits and pieces? You are obligated to repay your debts. Rest easy in this, the world is in your corner, asking, no telling Russia not to use energy as a weapon, I think they meant not to use debt as a weapon, and warning Russia there will be consequences. Now the world wants to help you develop your natural resources to ease you off Russian energy dependence. What will be demanded in exchange? Why are not the people and energy companies coming to your aid not harvesting the resources in their own countries? Why all the interest now? Simple, Russia will develop the resources in the Ukraine, after you vote in a purely democratic fashion to rejoin Mother Russia, giving them more wealth and power, but it comes at a cost. Russia just annexed The Crimea, in a purely democratic fashion the majority spoke and their wish was granted. However Russia had to absorb the debts of The Crimea, you can not charge yourself. The Crimea possibly has many energy resources and Russia has the technology to get at them. The reason Russia wanted The Ukraine to delay the referendum to return to Mother Russia was purely financial, if The Ukraine returns the same issue arises, debt absorption. Russia needs time to adjust financial resources, and make energy deals with other countries, to absorb the debts of a returning Ukraine. Much the same as when companies merge or there is a takeover, not only do you get the company you also inherit the debts and liabilities, even if the debt is to yourself. Russia does want and intends to return to its “heyday”, but that requires a lot of money, money that will be needed upfront. Mother Russia is willing to welcome home all of the “satellites”, but is not financially ready, yet, and would prefer to be the one to pick the time. The remaining “satellites” can soon expect the arrival of people and companies to help you harvest your natural resources, under the guise of lessening your dependence on Russian energy. Again they will harvest the resources in your country and not theirs. Why you ask, it is because their country has something yours does not, environmental activists that must be appeased or the EPA. They are only getting at it before the Russians can, your best interests are not a big concern and neither is the environment. One thing for sure, the Russians are coming, or more correctly you will be going to the Russians.

Russia has found itself out front for many reasons, the sanctions placed on Russia are purely symbolic. Most of Europe relies on Russian energy and any sanctions placed on Russia will only result in a decreased flow of gas to Europe. The harsher the sanction the lesser the energy flows. Russia is almost in a position to set the rules for the world. Russia supplies most of the energy for all of Europe, and may already have a deal to supply energy to China. Either of these instances can provide a lot of cash to Russia, combining these makes Russia an economic powerhouse. Even the U.S.A. has to send Russia money. The Russians are paid handsomely for providing a ride to space. The Afghani Army is furnished, free of charge, with Russian weapons and equipment including a contract for spare parts, bought by the U.S.A. The same equipment could have been built here in America providing Americans with jobs. True enough the money used to buy the equipment for the Afghani Army was tax money, but it could have been wasted here instead of giving Russia more money and power, if you intend to waste money at least waste it in the right place. But this could have been a “done deal” as far back as when BHO closed NASA and ended our Space Program, as a stipulation on providing a taxi service to the ISS, after all it was a no bid contract. Russia in fact, by default, now owns the ISS and sets the rules on supply and relief flights. What will BHO and the rest of the world do if Russia decides to no longer take anyone but Russian Cosmonauts to the ISS? How long before we could build and test a new “orbiter”, not to mention gather the people to run the program? How long before the Chinese will have a functional and safe “orbiter”? Can the ISS be weaponized? Will it have to be destroyed?

And do not forget about China drilling in the waters off Vietnam.

Will the coming energy wars be the catalyst for WW3?

The world barely let out a whimper over The Crimea, but they are digging in their hells over the Ukraine. If you ask why, the answer is energy resources they are readily available and the world is energy hungry. This is the equation: energy resources equals money, money equals power, power equals domination.

Another seeminly good idea that will cause unintended consequences

I watched a video recently concerning a planned rally in Gettysburg, at the battlefield, with the plans to show, no prove, to America and the World that Whites are not racists. The races mainly Black and White will “stand shoulder to shoulder” in a demonstration to the world that racism is dead in America. Just think a Rally to prove that racism is dead at the place where slavery was abolished, an appropriate symbol you would think. Seems like a good idea, right? No, it is yet another bad idea. Why do the citizens of America, of all races, have to prove anything to anybody? The first word and indeed the proper title of this country should answer all questions, and prove to the world that we are United, not just the States united, but all of America united.

Even if this rally were to prove to America and the World that racism were indeed dead, what rally would be planned next to disprove the next allegation of an “ism” or an “ist” being leveled against a person. What sort of rally would be needed to disprove as allegation of being a “sexist” when a woman is criticized? Where could it be held? What kind or rally would be needed if a person was labeled a “racist sexist”? Where could it be held? The allegations and personal reputation assaults of being labeled a “racist” or a “sexist” is driven by what? These allegations are most often used by liberals and mainly used when they can not prove their point and begin losing the debate.

Why then does a person have to disprove the allegations of being called and even labeled an “ist” of any sort, or accused in engaging in an “ism” of any sort? Why has the burden of proof shifted from the accuser to the accused? If you label someone then prove it damn it.

Sadly racism and all the other labels used to destroy lives in America are not dead. Why is that you ask? Some people earn a considerable living keeping them alive, people who have lost relevancy in life if they ever were relevant to start with. Constantly stirring the pot, so to speak, blaming other races or sexes for their failures because they were held back, paid less or just plain left behind. This is America you have, or at least had, Freedoms and Liberties like no other place on earth and squandered all of them to listen, follow and believe in someone who used you and are in fact they are the very ones who held you back and prevented you from accomplishing all that you could have accomplished in your life. How you ask? They threw a “pity party”, you were invited, and you came? To think someone like that claims to be a leader.

The “select committee” on Benghazi will cause a fusillade of accusations like no other, but the truth must be told.

The federal government is a powerful and fearsome tool against the citizens, not so much against our true enemies,radical Islamic terrorists

The former Secretary of State did not label and identify the radical Islamic terrorist group Boko Harum a terrorist organization or group, which has now set about kidnapping young school age girls. This group has now threatened to sell the girls on the open market. The excuse that they were not identifying them as a terrorist group because it would draw attention to them and possibly influencing recruitment of more radicals into the group, is absurd. Could this be one of the terrorist organizations that BHO said were only JV? I fail to understand why BHO and his administration fear offending the radical Islamic terrorists. Surely by now BHO and his administration have seen or heard the stories of what happens to children and women under radical Islamic law, girls suffer genital mutilation, boys are raped, women are suppressed, oppressed have no rights to an education or pursuit of a career and are second or even third class humans, falling behind livestock and possessions in importance. Homosexuals are routinely killed. Women who are raped are beaten or stoned to death for the crime of being a victim. What happens to a woman who defends herself and kills her attacker? What happens to the ones with birth defects, or have extreme mental health issues, or are the wrong sect of the state religion when caught by a group of the other sect of the same religion? What happens when they catch a Christian? So much for the religion of peace. BHO and his administration are attempting the make a friend of something they do not understand, or do they. They may be using each other, to some end.

The present Senate Majority Leader wasted no time in labeling and identifying the Patriots who went to Bunkerville, NV domestic terrorists. What would be the benefit of labeling someone a domestic terrorist. The FBI would be free to investigate you. The IRS would surely audit you. Would the NDAA be used against you? The NSA would monitor you, even closer than before. The full weight and force of the federal government would be brought down on you for doing the right thing, when it should be brought to bear on the real terrorists, the radical Islamic terrorists, the true enemies.

I ask this of the liberals in Washington D.C. in general and the liberals in America in Particular, which would you choose for a friend? A true Patriot that stands for right no matter the cost to him or her, or an enemy who when has no more use of you cuts off your head and them begins on your children and grandchildren. Choose one.

I’ll take the Patriots any day, they are with you and will stand by you through “thick and thin” and will ask nothing of you. That is what it means or should mean to be an American.

Unintended consequences

Unintended consequences will always come to light, soon after the good idea, or what was thought to be one, is either passed into law or made mandatory by the administration.

The 18th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which abolished liquor may have seemed like a good idea to some in 1919, turned out to be a bad idea for all. I have thought on and studied this idiotic idea and can not come up with even one thing that would be a positive consequence. First revenue. The government was voluntarily giving up a source of revenue, every thing is taxed in one way or another and most are taxed repetitively. Second unemployment. The people who were employed at the breweries and distilleries suddenly found themselves unemployed. Third more lost revenue. The people who lost their jobs could not spend as they had nothing to spend, thereby effecting the economy of the surrounding areas. How many people lost their jobs, because others found themselves without a job. The truck drivers were not delivering goods to warehouses, stores or establishments, fewer people were going to restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Less delivery trucks were needed, how many in the automotive industry, manufacturing or repairs, found themselves out of work because of decreased demand. Service stations as they were known in those days were effected as there was less demand for fuel. How many lives were effected by lost wages? How much total revenue was lost during this time? The ripple effect of even one industry closing has effects out as far as the eye can see. Fourth the borders to the north and south were not secure then, the same as now. Canada and Mexico were still brewing and distilling, thereby providing a product that was still very much in demand, and profiting greatly from the stupidity of another. Fourth crime. Say hello to “bootleggers” and organized crime and a dramatically elevated crime rate. Fifth the Great Depression. Could the Great Depression have been prevented or lessened to a Deep Recession had the 18th Amendment never happened? Possibly. One thing for sure with the passage of the 21st Amendment in 1933, which repealed the 18th Amendment, a lot of people went to work earning wages, paying taxes and supporting the local economy, just 14 years earlier the 18th amendment seemed like such a good idea. 14 years of lost wages and revenue, for what, government’s good idea!!!!!!!! And finally you caused normally good and decent law-abiding citizens to participate in criminal activity just by enjoying a cold one or two after a long hard days work, just because you had a good idea, or so you thought.

Demanding that motor vehicles get better fuel mileage has had unintended consequences. Less revenue for the government, as less fuel is purchased, less highway taxes and less other taxes are paid. Less money is available for road repair, resurfacing or just plain improvements. The expression of “infrastructure decay” began shortly after government demands for increased fuel economy. People are still buying fuel, but motor vehicles getting better mileage combined with the constantly increasing prices has made the dollars go less distance, in other word words the cars are going farther on shorter roads. The demands on automakers to increase fuel mileage will soon if not already have a detrimental effect on safety, yet another unintended consequence. The vehicles are getting better fuel mileage, buying less fuel which leads to paying less highway taxes, using the highways and the highways and roads are needing repair. Now What? You want to place toll booths on the interstates. Where will the money come from to build the toll-booths up and down the many interstates? If there is no money for repairs, where will toll booth construction dollars come from. Will you steal it out of some other pile of money? Will you simply borrow it from some foreign government? How will you pay the many people who will be hired to support another money grabbing operation, after all they will surely be employed by some government agency? Will you claim that these jobs were created to repair the infrastructure of America? Then there is this “good idea” you have, highway usage taxes paid at the time of purchasing fuel. How the hell will you figure that? Will a lighter vehicle pay less than a heavy one, after all lighter vehicles cause less wear and tear. Or do they, their sheer numbers cause a lot of wear and tear. For me to get to town I use a combination of the following, a private road, that I alone maintain without any of your infrastructure dollars, a county road, cross over another county road and a state road, the last three are paid for with fuel purchases. How much more do you want? You should have thought about the loss of and less revenue, before demanding better fuel mileage. But that would have required thought, but you are incapable of that, so you would have paid tax dollars for a study or a commission to do that for you. Think about this many states get a lot of revenue from motor vehicle tags, people will stop making trips of less importance and may even eliminate the second or third car, having the unintended consequence of states losing revenue because of less motor vehicle registrations. Fewer vehicles on the road means less fuel purchases, thus compounding the problem and on and on it goes. What tax or fee will you seek next to make up another shortage that you alone caused? You are not capable of thought on your own, therefore you are unworthy to lead, you are too proud to follow, so do us all a favor and just get the hell out-of-the-way and let the private sector fix this and all the other unintended consequences you have caused, give them room and let them go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On your stupidity on gun control. You were never about controlling crime, you are about citizen control and making law-abiding citizens as dependent on government as your voluntary slaves are. The population of Americans that own firearms do so and the reasons run the entire gamut, from just to piss you off, self-defense, hunting or just to collect and preserve a piece of history, maybe an heirloom. Think on this for a moment. People do hunt, the money used to purchase licenses from the states for hunting are used to by various agencies within the state for wildlife management, and in some that is their only source of revenue. Again how many people would their jobs that depend on hunting? How many jobs depend on hunters? Gas stations, restaurants and even some large chain stores, not to mention entire industries that support hunting, clothing and the like. Not only that how many jobs would be lost in the firearms manufacturing industry and those that support it, manufacturers of ammunition and the like, and the ones that depend on it, shop owners. Who would occupy the empty buildings? Did you not learn anything from the 18th Amendment. Our economy is fragile, bordering on if not already in another recession, and the loss of an industry as large as the firearms industry would send us into another depression, even larger than the last. Say hello to crime again. As I said you are about population control not crime control, this path you are on will do the same as the 18th Amendment did, make criminals out of normally law-abiding citizens. As for me you will have to want to take it more than I want to keep it. The criminals will always be criminals and will seek the easiest victim or target.

I did not mention Benghazi, the IRS, Fast and Furious, Obamacare and the rest because of one important thing they all have in common. There were no unintended consequences in any of them. BHO and his administration knew exactly what they were doing and did not care about the consequences. This is best demonstrated by the demands and actions of the “elected” current leader of Afghanistan, he demanded money, a sort of “tribute”, for each “civilian” killed by military actions in that lovely country, and he was paid. He as a responsible leader should have done his best to protect the population by ensuring their safety, but instead he viewed them as a positive cash flow, and did nothing to ensure their safety, while he held up in a palace that was more of a fortress, safe and secure. There have been reports that he may be “coming to America”, Afghanistan might be unkind to him. But if he comes, will he be alone, or will many, many friends come with him? I close with this concerning the payments of “tribute”. Three important things about Libya, the airstrike that killed an armored vehicle occupied by insurgents, the theft of equipment at an American supply depot, unguarded of course, and finally the murder of 4 Americans, where after over 20 months not a single person responsible has been captured or killed. Did the administration pay a “tribute”?

What will happen when dawn breaks over Washington , District of Criminals?

Monday morning should prove to be an interesting time in Washington, D.C. to say the very least. BHO who was probably planning a golf outing, Friday’s revelations may have upset his plans. Maybe this is his “humpty dumpty” moment, but again he has had since Friday to prepare for Monday. He is going to need a really big distraction to avoid what is surely coming. But, who or what will provide cover? Which one of his minions will “fall on the sword” for this one, if needed? Something on a grand scale will be needed to draw the media attention away, no you won’t need to draw the media away they support you enthusiastically and even help spread your lies. You will need a way or reason to delay or prevent the congressional hearings in the House of Representatives that may already be planned. What event could cause America, the ones that want and demand answers, to become so distracted as to lose interest. Could one of you “friends” take it upon him or herself to cause a distraction for you? Could an event be staged that would place Washington, D.C. on lockdown? Yep, that would buy you another day or two, but would be obvious as hell. Could the daily press conference be cancelled or postponed? Yep, your mouthpiece could even call in sick, again obvious as hell. Could your “big money” friends cause a big sell-off on Wall Street in turn causing a run on the Banks? Oh yeah, now that would buy you a lot of time, again obvious as hell, the stock market was doing splendidly. Could Malaysian Airlines flight MH 370 all of a sudden turn up in a satellite photo in a country that is hostile towards the West, being loaded with a nuclear weapon or any weapon of mass destruction, and ready for flight? Now that would require some serious explaining. You could announce that the nuclear waste dump was on fire and would have to evacuate many thousands of square miles of the west. Nope already had that one, wasted it. The BLM could descend on Bunkerville again, with different rules of engagement, after all some of the people who Harry claimed to be “domestic terrorists” are still in the area. That would require a lot of explaining also. There are endless possibilities that could provide a distraction and buy time, but eventually, as your favorite reverend said, “the chickens have come home to roost”. My advice, “man-up” tell the truth about Benghazi and all the rest, then “just let the chips fall where they may”, you do it don’t send a mouthpiece. I’ll be getting up early regardless.

An open letter to Liberal Politicians in particular, and all politicians in general, even the aspiring ones.

Don’t get me wrong, I admire persistence, but not stupidity. Another shooting in a gun free zone, there are and will be arguments about whether or not an armed citizen could have stopped the shooter, that is the wrong question. The question here is why do you support and encourage criminal acts such as these? The fact of the matter is that you give the criminal everything that is needed in one neat package, victims with no means of defense, and yet you somehow avoid the blame. Do I think that every citizen should be armed? Absolutely not is my answer. The people should be making that choice for themselves, you have no right to make it for them, one way or the other. Unless prohibited by law, everyone that wants to keep and bear arms should be able to, after all the Constitution doesn’t disallow it and the Second Amendment is only a guarantee that the federal government can not infringe upon the right, but again that law is already with us and the criminals break that one, the next one will fare no better. No matter how many laws you pass and enact the only effect you will see from your efforts is continued criminal behavior. Your gun control efforts only provide a greater number of victims. Why are there so many victims? The answer is government provides them. Law abiding citizens obey the law, criminals do not. If you truly believe that guns are so evil why do you seek to enact laws that disarm the civilian population while at the same time seeking to provide more and better arms to law enforcement and the military? If guns are so evil, why do some of you own firearms? If guns are so evil, why do you have an armed security detail? Why are you constantly attempting and sometimes enacting legislation that only effect the lawful and never the unlawful? You see yourselves as leaders, but you do not have any idea what a leader is. Let me spell it out for you. A leader does just that they lead, and they lead from the front, setting the example. Show me that you are a leader, on your gun control measures, turn yours in, get rid of the armed security detail, enforce the laws on the books and really get down to the business of punishing criminals, then we can sit down and talk. As a matter of fact, do this with all your legislation, if it is such a good idea, be a good leader, you go first. No you will not do that, there will always be something hidden in the fine print that leaves you an out. One final question. What are you so afraid of? While I wait for the answers to the questions above, consider this, tell the truth to the people. I know full well that the answers will never come, the same as I know that you will not tell the truth to the people. Permit me to do this for you, I will tell them the truth which will provide the answers. The legislation you enact is not about providing a service or fulfilling a need, it only to control the population, continue to grow government and promote the culture of government dependence, while at the same time insulating yourselves and padding your wallets. The real and ugly truth is that you do nothing to control crime, if crime was eliminated you would have no further need to continue arming law enforcement. You seek to continue the march towards a Police State as the new America, where only the police, military and criminals have weapons, but where do you fit into this, you are not law enforcement and you are not in the military, only leaves one option doesn’t it. You will enact a law giving you law enforcement powers, that is a scary thought the law makers as the law enforcers. I seem to remember a country somewhere and sometime in history where the law makers were the enforcers, no wait, there have been many of them. They all had one thing in common, a really high mortality rate, seems the population had no means of self-defense. In the end there may only two kinds of people outside of government, victims and criminals, the criminals will be divided into two groups, true criminals and the former law-abiding citizens that you and your efforts have forced to become criminals because they would not and could not allow themselves or their families to become victims. The victims will be the victims of the true criminals, just as it has always been, they will never be the victims of the law-abiding, just as it has also always been. There will be only one kind of person inside government and since you seek to have all of the weapons you can not be the victim, leaves only one option doesn’t it. I leave you with this, you are not special, you have been entrusted with a special job, one that was never meant to be a career, you are a politician not a Statesman, you are a public servant not the master of the public, name calling is a sign of a weak position and is usually done by children on the playground when they lose, you have no right to make your opinion and views the law of the land, you have no right to exempt yourself from the law, America is great and special because of the people not the government and lastly America belongs to the people not the government.

An open letter to Business Owners.

Do you have the right to refuse service? Absolutely. Do you have the right to refuse access? Absolutely. Do you have the right to post a no firearms allowed sign at you Business? Absolutely. Do you provide an endless supply of victims? Absolutely. Will I do any commerce with you or your Business? Absolutely NOT. Now, this may be your own business or you may simply be the manager of a national chain that has a no gun policy. You may not in your private life be anti-gun, you chose to work there and in order to keep your job you must follow company policy. Unless you are moocher there is an understanding, you don’t work, you don’t eat. But, if this is your own business and that is your personal policy, for what ever reason, religious or political, you need to set the example, you are supposedly a type of leader. Do you post the same sign on the front door to your home? No, Well, why not, are you afraid that it will invite criminals into your home? You invited them to your business. Regardless, if there is a no-gun policy at your workplace, there are many resources available, courses of instruction if you will, that teach self-defense without a firearm. You could find these courses and offer them to the employees instead of leaving them totally defenseless. My point here is to teach Self-Defense and stop this stupid and dangerous practice of “shelter-in-place”. It is much harder to hit a moving target. I am not saying or even suggesting that someone run headlong into a hail of fire, or the path of a slashing knife or whatever the criminal chose as the tool of their trade, what I am saying is that there are already tools available at the workplace that can be deployed as a self-defense weapon, no one knows of them. Why, because they were never taught, so teach them, or have a professional do it for you and the criminals will never see it coming, force must be met with force, overwhelming if possible. The question of the ages is this, if you truly hate guns, why do you constantly call someone with a gun to your gun-free zone that has one, or are they welcome because they have a gun and a badge. The reason you had to call them in the first place is that you denied someone the same thing that they bring with them and you even advertised it inviting trouble. And finally this, you deny a law-abiding group which is the people who choose to exercise their Constitutional rights from your place of business and the liberals cheer you on. But if you deny a group that is on the approved government list of those that must be protected, even if just placed on the approved list, or give money to a cause that you support or supported at sometime in the past that was not, but is now is on the list of those needing protection, the same liberals that cheered you on for denying one will demand your head on a silver platter if you deny the other. I leave you with this, if you deny me any of my God-given rights or any rights guaranteed by the Constitution I will not be a faithful customer of your establishment, if on the other hand you do not impede or infringe on my rights I will be a faithful customer. I don’t mind paying extra for the same goods and services and will do so gladly. The one thing I will not do is give up any of my rights, God-given or otherwise to save a little money. I may even suffer a horrible fate, but it will not be because I was denied the means to defend myself.

A “perfect storm” is on the horizon. Part 2 of a series

This series of posts will address the conditions that have, will and are occurring in America, they are in no particular order, all are important. Some will be based on fact. Some will be based on possibilities. Some will be based on opinion. Some will be based on my life experiences. Some will be based on my interpretation of events. Some will be based on a combination of all. If you are reading this post, you will have to decide which is which and you must arrive at your own conclusions. Some of this post and subsequent posts in this series will cause you to do some research on your own.

The continued erosion and assault on the Bill of Rights. The First Amendment, most often refered to as Freedom of Speech, but it consists of so much more than just Freedom of Speech. It also prohibits the establishment of a “state” religion while also allowing the free exercise of religion. It also allows for the Freedom of the Press, the Right for the People to Peaceably Assemble and allows petitions for the redress of grievances against government.

As to the matter of Freedom of Speech, rulings from the Courts have had and will continue to have a detrimental effect on Freedom of Speech as has BHO, his Administration and Congress. It seems that now-a-days Freedom of Speech is allowed only if no one is offended, and even that distinction gets “blurred” and depends on who gets offended and who does the offending. The liberals on the left and right seem to get and are getting leniency when they say something that may seem to some people as being out-of-line. The conservatives get no leniency for anything they say. To further complicate the Freedom of Speech issue we now have “hate speech”, “inflammatory speech” and “slurs” it has even been ruled that a slogan or a design on a tee-shirt can be speech and therefore can be controlled if someone gets offended. The politicians and the courts have set about dividing, separating and yes even segregating speech the same as they have done with America. There is no longer Freedom of Speech in America, because speech must be controlled.
The liberal Secretary of State mentions Israel as Apartheid as is given a “pass” claiming he could have chosen a better word, no he said exactly what he meant, he is a politician. Politicians read from prepared speeches and remarks or a teleprompter. My question to this politician’s WTF were you thinking moment is, Just who the hell is Israel oppressing or suppressing, they hold out a hand in peace only to have it slapped away by yet another unprovoked muslim extremist attack.

As to the matter of a “state” religion. America has had one for a long, long time. The “state” religion is Atheism. The preacher is “politics”. The altar is “big government”. The pews are “government dependence”. The building is “corruption”. In this religion everyone is taught that all ills are cured with money, and any offense can be overcome with money, if it is enough money.

As to the matter of the free exercise of religion, that may soon be a thing of the past, depending on your chosen religion. The courts and politicians will make that decision. The process began with the slow and steady removal of God and Christianity from public schools. The rulings by the courts concerning what is speech has tied Freedom of speech with Religious expression. The Cross that we Christians use as a “symbol” of our religion has been in the courts already. The latest was a piece of metal recovered from the World Trade center in the shape of a cross, it did not matter that is how it was found, what mattered was what it looked like and someone’s interpretation of what it resembled. The excuse that it made life hard for atheists to look at everyday, causing distress in their lives. Religion and Religious symbols are under attack, mostly from the left, these are the same people who claim that they stand for choice and tolerance. They themselves are the most intolerant of all, and as for choice they are good with that if your choice and theirs are the same. If a preacher gives a sermon on life in America, and offers a special prayer for a political candidate, will the IRS descend upon the church. At this point in our government, that will depend if it is a liberal or a conservative candidate, choose wrong and surely they will come. What about church members and their views? If the IRS does descend on a church and remove the tax status will the church survive? There is no Freedom of Speech in Church, unless the church is “favored” by the administration, and the IRS is the enforcer. The Sermon on life in America and the special prayer could lead to many different charges and allegations. If a person claims offense to the sermon or prayer, it can be hate speech, inflammatory speech or a slur, and not only could the IRS come calling it could also bring the DOJ visiting, again depending on if the church is “favored” by the administration.

As to the matter of Freedom of the Press, you were granted freedom, nobody said you had to accurate or honest. Are you operating as the Founding Fathers expected? The answer is a resounding NO! But what the hell, the 16th president imprisoned many before you for printing, representing and believing in the other view and opinion. I figure that many of you are still in shock over that time in history, and not wanting to suffer the same fate, you simply print and believe every thing BHO says or does and any dissent is buried in the back and is usually very small and never repeated. The only time you grow “a pair” is when a republican sits in the White House, which is odd considering the 16th president was the first republican. Surely you do not think that a liberal, tolerance preaching, pro-choice and democratic president would retaliate against you, do you?

As to the matter of peaceful assembly, permits are required, and usually granted if your group is “favored” by the administration, “not favored” need not apply.

As to the matter of Petitions for the redress of grievances. The politicians famously said we simply did not understand, and government knew better. There is no petition for the redress of grievances, it is not allowed. Even the town-hall meetings were a joke you did as you always have and will do, and that is that you do exactly what you want. You will never have to live under the rules and laws you impose on the citizenry. This part was written at a time when Statesmen and not politicians occupied the governmental offices. The holding of Town-Hall and Commission meetings do exactly what their intended purpose was, and that is to give the “illusion” that government cares and wants input from the citizenry before action. In truth the government has already decided and will change their minds only if the path they have set will jeopardize their continued quest for more government control over the life of the citizens and the power it gives them.

The First Amendment is the only one of the Bill of Rights that guarantees any Freedoms. Freedom is not Free, as a matter of fact there is nothing free in this world, someone somewhere in time paid the cost.

The people of America should be celebrating and rejoicing in the fact that we do enjoy Freedom of Speech even in this day of government intrusions, restrictions and division, especially because someone long ago paid the price for you to have that right. The government did not give you the Right to Free Speech, the First Amendment simply prohibited government from abridging the Right. Like all other rights, if you do not exercise it you will lose it. The internet of today gives the people a platform from which to exercise that right. I wish to thank WordPress for giving me that platform. I also wish to thank the readers.

The following is based on my belief, if you do not share it at least be tolerant of it. Just a bit of free speech and religious exercise.

Grace and Salvation are mine, because Jesus Christ, whom I accept and claim as my personal Savior, paid the cost on the Cross for my sins before I was even born. Think about that for a moment. I get to go to Heaven and it cost me nothing, but acceptance of Jesus Christ.

Every time the results of an “opinion poll” are released I “bust a gut” laughing. Every news outlet and newspaper have “polls” on every subject imaginable. The results are based on a “sampling” of voters, likely voters and man on the street and the questions always have a “margin of error” disclaimer. The one thing they never reveal is the format of the question asked, some formats do not leave any choice and some do. If you ask the question in the format of do you like, there is only a yes or no response. If you ask the question of how much do you like, the answers would be of great variance unless you limit the responses to none, some and much. If you limit the responses you manipulate the poll and the data. Limiting your choice of response only serves to “steer” opinion to the results that were intended. Still I do not understand how a “sampling” of a few Americans represents the rest of American opinion. I find it truly amazing that people earn a living at being a “pollster”, well maybe not a lot of people earn a living deceiving America, “politicians and pollsters”. Lies on top of liars on top of lies. I wonder who works for who? The truly sickening thing is that the politicians base what they do based on polling data, they will even state that the majority of Americans want this, that or the other based on polls, or if the polls are in disagreement with their actions they will simply state that America jus does not understand. One more thing about these “polls” no one has ever asked my opinion and that is probably just as well, my response would most likely be unprintable. I have some tips for the pollsters, (1)I am an American (2)I have an opinion (3)I matter and I vote (4)But all of this does not matter to you and your numbers because I choose to live in as they say the “sticks”, not the large cities (5)I am perfectly capable of arriving a my own conclusion after gathering the facts (6)I do not need you to attempt to change my mind with your numbers (7)your numbers are meaningless (8)I am not a part of any herd and do not find myself following the so-called popular opinion, if there is such a thing. No one thinks for me.

When ever the government releases numbers it leaves me scratching my head. The unemployment numbers always have “seasonally adjusted” attached to it no matter what season it is. What the hell is seasonally adjusted? I work year-round not just one season or another. Another thing why is it always a rounded number such as 171000 new jobless claims or 171000 new jobs added, is there no way it could have been 1710001 or any other number but a rounded number. Recently BHO gave his victory speech regarding the Obamacare numbers, then it was 7.1 million, but was it and who knows what it is now. The numbers for Medicaid, Medicare and who has actually paid the premiums were not released. It seems that they only know how many signed up not what they signed up for or if they paid. The government also knows how many illegal aliens are in America, again a rounded number, yet are wanting them to come out of the shadows. If you know how many there are, they can’t be hiding in the shadows. The numbers on housing starts are released but no foreclosure numbers. Have the foreclosures stopped? New car sales are released but not repossession numbers. Have they stopped also? If the economy is doing so well why are the numbers on food stamps and other forms of assistance increasing instead of declining? It is all deceptions and lies. Getting a true number out of the government and this administration would probably be as hard as pulling hens teeth. With the exception of how many people were shot or knifed in the latest attack in a gun-free zone. They always release those numbers.

With the advent of cable and satellite we have been blessed or cursed with 24 hour news channels. The problem is that news is not happening 24 hours a day, they are forced to try to make news out of non-news events, like reporting on “polls”. What I find disingenuous is the fact that they fell the necessity of bringing in an expert to repeat or clarify what some politician or public figure just finished talking about. I either just heard what was said and understood it without the experts repeating or clarifying what was said or I chose not to listen and would read it later on my own, most often the latter. There are even times when a news event is occurring and there is a lull so they resort to speculating as to what has possibly occurred, especially during the lost airliner and more recently the tragedy of the ferry in South Korea. They even bring in so-called experts to assist in the speculation in an attempt to give speculation some glimmer of validity. You know it is especially bad when the news networks re-run programs, but will interrupt for some breaking news or non-news event. Rumors, speculation and gossip are not news, but when presented on a news program people will believe it, after all it was on the news. There are also more opinion programs than there are news segments, even the news segments inject opinion, and they all “tout” their ratings and how long they have been on top. These channels, all of them need to re-designate themselves as opinion channels, interrupted by news as it occurs and stop reporting without all the facts or just report the news with the facts they have, or would that have an effect on your ratings.

The so-called experts never get one thing right, the results are always worse than or better than the experts predictions. The ironic thing is that they never publish or state what their expectations are, they simply wait until the results are in to make their expectations known. The weather people are better at guessing weather that changes constantly than the experts are at guessing the economy which most times is flat. Then the stock markets react to the experts statements. This is just another way to deceive America and manipulate the market.

Here is one “poll” that could be used as it is factual. The poll could ask the question do you have your own “rectal orifice” natural or surgically created? Everyone would answer “Yes” as there was only a yes or no response allowed by the poll. The government could report factual numbers for once. The report could read the number of “rectal orifices” equals the number of people in America. The news organizations could report with “breaking news” the latest poll numbers are at 100% with no margin of error every citizen of the nation has a “rectal orifice”. The expert expectations would at last be correct by reporting that as expected every citizen has a “rectal orifice”.

The thing about “rectal orifices”,is everyone has one and they all stink, some just smell worse than others. My Opinion on this, in case anyone should ask, is that the “liberal rectal orifices”, those on the left and right, smell the worst. This is because of and is demonstrated by them seeming to have only one opinion making the “combined and collective” odor akin to an open air waste water treatment site.
