The Strategy of Cowardice

That which is happening now is certainly revealing. What it reveals is that desperation has set in. The republican field of candidates seeking the nomination has dwindled from 17 to now just 3. Enter the Cruz/Kasich “deal”. With the Cruz/Kasich deal allows the primary process to go forward with 3 candidates in some states and only 2 candidates in others. Donald Trump is and will be the only one of the three on every ballot from this point forward. Donald Trump is demonstrating that he is the only one with guts enough to move forward risking defeat each and every time. While the other two will no longer have to risk coming in dead last in a field of three, but then only at certain times. They get to choose the times and which contests they will skip. Fine and Dandy for you. What you are doing is limiting the choices the voters could make. Another instance of a politician placing himself first and foremost. Neither Cruz or Kasich are willing to skip a contest they could possibly do well in. Donald Trump is willing to participate in every contest, win-lose or draw. It appears to me that the Cruz/Kasich deal shows that neither Cruz or Kasich has the guts to face a tough fight. They simply pull out of possible loss. Rather than risk losing they simply choose not to play. The strategy of Cowardice.

Cruz and Kasich are blinded by political ambition. They are so blinded that neither sees that the voters see them as a part of the problem, they are not seen as part of the solution. They just do not get it. If they do get it, they simply do not believe it. Whereas, Donald Trump is seen as part of a possible solution. That is another thing that they do not get.

I have no doubt that this “deal” was only one of the many things discussed and “hatched” at the closed-door meetings between the RNC, politicians and their donors. I also have no doubt that promises were made for Cruz and Kasich to go along with this “back-room deal”. I also have no doubt that this deal is or was the only “back-room deal” or scheme planned and hatched. I am sure the rest of this plan will come to light at a later time.

The RNC has now reached a point where desperation is setting in. The stop Trump effort was in no doubt, at least to me a RNC plan. I believe that they are so desperate they would be satisfied if a democrat once again occupied the Oval Office. What would be the “rhyme and reason”. The only answer I can come up with is to protect the Status Quo. The entire political system in general and politics including politicians specifically is corrupt, to what level the corruption has reached is any body’s guess. The only one’s that know that answer are the political insiders, and they ain’t telling. We ain’t knowing because we ain’t asking the right questions. Donald J. Trump might just be the question and the answer. The level of corruption in government would be exposed if an outsider exposed it, but to expose the corruption the outsider must get inside. An outsider could also expose the level of corruption in the government as well. I have a hunch that once the level of corruption is exposed the citizens will expect and demand accountability and may even seek out some retribution.

The RNC must realize by now that do not just have one problem(Donald J. Trump) they have another problem(We The People). Every vote for Trump is a vote for America, it is not a vote for the RNC. I believe that the voters in both parties have lost Faith, Confidence and Trust in the political parties and most of all in the politicians. We no longer Trust the political parties or the establishment politicians. Even if the RNC finds a way to stop Mr. Trump, they still have us to contend with. The voting in the primary process has proven that the RNC and the politicians are no longer trustworthy. More than that the RNC can no longer trust us to support it. It was not the Thirteen Colonies that abused the British Crown, it was the British Crown that abused the Thirteen Colonies. The Colonials finally reached the point were they would no longer stand for abuses. Much the same with the RNC and the voters. It was not the Voters who abused the RNC, it was the RNC that abused the Voters. The point is arriving where the voters are growing tired of the abuses. How will the RNC contend with us, We The People? We can no longer trust you and now you can no longer trust us. Greed and Corruption caused the rift between the Crown and the Colonies. Greed and corruption has caused the rift between the RNC and the Voters. Remember the RNC made the first move, the same as the British Crown. The sheep are waking up. What will the RNC do to “lull” them back to sleep? Can they?

Now it is time for the big question. Which of the three remaining candidates would make a great president, the ones who avoids possible difficulties or the one willing to face all possible hardships? One that avoids challenges or the one who boldly faces challenges? This provides part of the answer to the question of why the people are so “pissed-off”. It seems that politicians avoid anything that could endanger their political future.

Neither of the two participating in this scheme are willing to drop-out and let the remaining two “fight-it-out” to the end. It is no longer about gathering a few delegates here and there. And let us not forget this deal was hatched between and by politicians in a moment or fit of desperation, one politician promising to help another politician reach his goal. There in lies the problem both Cruz and Kasich want the same thing, both want to be president. In true form of politicians one of them is bound to break the deal. Neither Cruz or Kasich could reach out to the voters and gain their support, confidence or trust. This is why they are behind and losing badly.

Kasich stayed in the race to force a contested convention. Cruz would be happy with a contested convention. I thought the object was to win not force a contested convention. It seems pretty sad that the focus has shifted from winning to tying, or preventing a win. I am sure Cruz would rather Kasich just drop-out all together, but Kasich has no intention to drop-out. Trump has the same goal he has had from the beginning, and that is to win, go to the convention to accept the nomination.

One thing that perplexes me is when a candidate has the strategy of running on the statement “I am the only one that can beat Hillary Clinton”. The only way to beat Hillary Clinton or whoever the Democrat nominee is, is if the voters turn-out to vote for you. If the voters do not vote for you, you do not win. So far the majority of voters have voted for another candidate, not you. I understand the concept of bound and unbound delegates. If the convention lasts long enough eventually all delegates are unbound. Winning the convention makes little difference if the general election is lost. Don’t believe me look back at 2008 and 2012.

There are “talking heads” that claim the Trump candidacy is nothing more than a “Populist Movement”, meaning that Trump is only winning because he is popular. The general election is nothing more than a popularity contest, with the addition of the Electoral College, giving the illusion of representation. Electoral College votes are doled out based on the popularity of the candidate in that state, if he or she fails to get the most popular votes he or she does not get the Electoral College votes. The most popular candidate gets the Electoral votes. Winning the popular vote in Alaska does not carry the same weight as winning the popular vote in California. The whole election process, every election process is based on popularity. The next president has to be popular in enough states to lay claim to 270 Electoral College votes, no matter how unpopular he or she is in the remainder.

The Declaration of Independence ends with these last few words, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor. Could you even imagine politicians of today using such words and actually meaning it? I submit to you they would not. Any documents written today would end with, we pledge to each other the Fortunes of others, we are politicians we have no Honor.

Personally I would laugh my ass off if Cruz and Kasich never got another single vote. If either want to win, then beat Donald J. Trump on the Field of Honor, or do you not have any Honor? No you are politicians, Honor is foreign to you.

A sickness crosses the Land

More of a decay than a sickness. The decay is from rot and corruption, and it is spreading at a fever pitch. There is an old adage that goes; America can never be destroyed from the outside, if America is to be destroyed it must come from the inside. Truer words could never have been said, but those words were said long ago. That was the America that was.

This is the America that is. America is being destroyed by the rot and corruption that exists on the inside. If that were not enough rot and corruption are being brought inside from the outside. Much like a piece of lumber under attack from termites and exposure the elements. Both eating away, both causing irreversible damage.

There is another old adage that goes; An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This country at one time had all the tools necessary to prevent rot and corruption. That was then this is now.

The Reverse Revolution was mentioned in the last post. Just a refresher: A revolution, like the American Revolution, was waged to throw off the yoke of tyranny and oppression inflicted on the colonials and the country by an unjust government. A Reverse Revolution, like the one being waged against the American people, is being waged to put the yoke of tyranny and oppression on the people and the country by an unjust government.

The sad part is that the government is using one of this countries most cherished founding documents to do it. The government is using none other than The U.S. Constitution in an attempt to place the yoke of tyranny and oppression upon the neck of America. The equal protection clause is at this time is their favorite weapon in this war. The equal protection clause was to protect the people not their causes or lifestyles. But even the usage of the equal protection clause is not used equally. It is used only if it benefits government and the politicians who occupy Constitutional Office and helps to fulfill their agenda.

If any do not believe that the Constitution is being used to place the yoke of tyranny and oppression around the neck of America, I suggest that you read the following; The Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Arms. Check the list of offenses the British Crown committed against the Colonies and the Colonials. One that stands out is the arbitrary nullifying of Laws. Case in point, the State of Florida, as did many others, had until recently a law on the books banning same-sex marriage. The people voted on it and it passed and became Law in Florida and many other states. That was then this is now. The SCOTUS ruled, no legislative process they just ruled, and the country was forced to recognize same-sex marriage in all 50 states and the District of Columbia as being a right. Laws were over-turned and the peoples voice was silenced. The same goes for abortion, that too was legalized by SCOTUS, now it has been revealed that this great nation has been reduced to allowing the sale of body parts and organs of the unborn, and giving millions to the agency responsible. What other horrors has the SCOTUS unwittingly un-leashed on America? Only time will tell. There will probably be many and they too will be horrendous.

The other day I was visiting various blogs, one of the many that I frequent, It was a “prepper” blog. Yep, I read opinion, politics, history, prepper and conspiracy theory sites. The part that caught my attention in the post I was reading was about the Constitution. The author was writing about a prepper community and if they survived the event someone would have to rebuild America, he suggested that every one in the community have a copy of the Constitution as a guide to rebuilding America. I do not think the author realized that even though the Constitution was written by good and decent men, it is being used now as the instrument for the destruction of America.
On a side note: Conspiracy theories are only theories until that theory becomes fact.
The preppers are nothing like the reality show. How do I know? Guess. The preppers are not some fringe group. If prepping is a fringe activity, explain this. The Federal government has a fully staffed and equipped prepper agency, FEMA, paid for with your tax dollars. If it is okay for the government, why is it only a fringe activity if the citizens do it? The preppers use their own money.

Back to the Constitution, as I said it was written by good and decent men. It is only worth the paper it is written on if good and decent men meant it when they take the oath to uphold it. You would be hard pressed to find good and decent men among career politicians.

The rot and corruption that is destroying America must be stopped. It can be stopped by electing good and decent men to Constitutional office. We do not need more politicians we need more statesmen. We need statesmen who will pledge their lives, their sacred honor and their fortunes. We do not need politicians who intend to make a fortune while holding office. It can also be stopped by a Press that fulfills its obligation to the people, by holding the government accountable. It can be stopped by a citizenry that understands that if they wish to reap the benefits of living in America they must bear the burden of supporting it.

Coexistence part 1 The Feminists

This is a tough one as I have yet to personally encounter any members of the feminist movement, but then I do live in a rural area. So I begin with this one.
The only exposure I have had to members of the feminist movement has been through media outlets(internet, videos and television) and it appears that this is a “big city” occurrence. It is therefore highly unlikely that I will ever encounter the members of the feminist movement in their environment, as I have no plans to go to any big city. It is likely on the other hand that a member of the feminist movement will encounter me in my environment while on vacation or just passing through going to the next big city for a rally.
You may encounter me or someone like me and this is intended to lessen the shock, this is what you should look for. If I arrive at a door before you I will open the door and wait for you to enter. If in a store and we happen to arrive at an intersection in the aisle I will stop and let you pass. If I happen to pass you in opposite directions I will tip my hat and simply say Ma’am. If I am seated and you are standing I will get up and offer you the seat, whether you accept the seat or not I will remain standing, you may as well take the seat as it will remain vacant if you do not. I stand and expect you to take the seat, I do not demand you take the seat, the choice is yours. I only offer you the choice.
I was raised in the south where good manners and respect were and are a way of life. Good manners and respect are what I display, what I do I do for those reasons and no other. My actions are not a ploy to get in your pants, get over yourself. Accept what I do while you are in my environment, if for no other reason than as a show of respect for good manners. If for some unforeseen reason I encounter you in you environment I will accept your display of bad manners, respecting you wishes. With the exception of the chair thing I guess it will remain vacant.
If you as a member of the feminist movement were on a ship at sea that begins to sink, the order is given to abandon ship is given and the lifeboats are lowered and someone announces women and children first what will you do? Will you accept and take your place as a woman and board the lifeboat? Or will you stand with the men while the women and children are saved? This action leaves the men in a perilous situation. There are never enough lifeboats. Get in the damned boat, Ma’am.
When I do sit I sit comfortably I do not slouch or over exaggerate, nor will I be forced to sit in a position that causes pain.

So the question is can gentlemen and feminists coexist? The jury is still out on this question, but the answer will be no if one side makes demands of the other. I act the way I do because of good manners and respect, no one demanded that it of me. Do I have expectations?. Yes, I expect a man to act as man and as a gentleman when appropriate and I expect a woman, lady as it were, to act as a lady. Hence the phrase Ladies and Gentlemen. Even in that phrase the Lady is first, just like the lifeboat. You will notice that I only said I have expectations, I do not demand that a man act as a man or when appropriate as a gentleman, nor do I demand that a woman act like a woman or a lady for that matter. Making demands of others will never lead to a peaceful coexistence.

I and those like me are Men in the presence of Men, and we are Gentlemen in the presence of Women, Ladies as it were. A Gentleman will fight for the honor of a Lady.
