A Little Common Sense Would Be In Order. Part 2 Israel and the Palestinians

Perhaps it would help if the “distinguished” elected representatives(politicians) were to stop by the Library of Congress and do a little reading. Some suggestions would be The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States, The Declaration of Arms, The Federalist Papers, The Anti-Federalist Papers, The Writings and Opinions of the Founding Fathers, the Articles of Confederation, also I might suggest Common Sense and The American Crisis by Thomas Paine. The previous list is only a partial list, but it would be a good start. One would think with all of the great literature available in the Library of Congress some of the “distinguished” elected representatives(politicians)would spend some time there, apparently that is not the case.

Common Sense is a term thrown about by the politicians, but politicians demonstrate at every opportunity that they truly lack any idea as to what Common Sense means or how to use it. Their actions go against the very notion of using “common sense” in their statements and actions.
This post applies to our “distinguished” elected representatives and their merry band of minions.

On Exercising Restraint. I am getting mighty tired of Israel being told to exercise restraint when it comes to dealing with Terrorists, and especially the Palestinians. Israeli PM Netanyahu, the IDF and the Israelis in general have exercised extreme and remarkable restraint in the latest attacks by the Palestinian terrorists. It is by contrast that the Palestinians have exercised the total lack of restraint. The latest from the State Department is for both sides to exercise restraint. The current Administration and its merry band of minions in the State Department along with the MSM make it seem that the ratio of dead Israeli victims and dead Palestinian terrorists are disproportionate. What are they looking for a game of tit-for tat, one for one? Would they all rather that Israel wait for the number of Israeli killed by terrorists rise to the number of dead terrorists before more can be killed and then only in matching numbers? Excessive force and disproportionate numbers of dead are the constant talking points of the administration and the MSM.

While the current Administration and its merry band of minions call for both sides to exercise restraint, none of them demand that the Palestinians stop the attacks. This is by far the most telling of who the Administration supports. The Administration could use financial sanctions against the Palestinians by withholding funds to the Palestinian Authority until the attacks stop. But they have not taken this route nor will they. The citizens of our closest ally and friend in the Middle-East are being brutally and viciously attacked and the Administration keeps sending money to the ones doing the attacking. Go figure.

I wonder if the Administration would slap sanctions on Israel, if Israelis were the aggressors. I bet they would. I also wonder how much restraint BHO and his minions would demonstrate here in America if the situation were reversed. If the attackers were Muslims on Jews or Christians, would it be restraint or action? If the attackers were Jews or Christians on Muslims, would it be restraint or action? Think about it.

It makes no sense common or otherwise to demand restraint from the ones being victimized. It also makes no sense common or otherwise not to demand the attackers cease and desist. It does make sense common and otherwise to force and use force to stop the attack even if it seems excessive. If the attack is vicious and brutal the response must be overwhelming and not a weak or half-hearted response.

Israel lives in a rough neighborhood and each day is a fight for survival. The citizens of Israel and indeed Israel itself have a right to self-defense. The Administration and the merry band of minions, or at least most of them, have only “fought for survival” during the “Black Friday” sales.

Common sense and indeed logic would dictate that if you are under attack you should respond with even more determination than the attacker. Furthermore the attacker showed no restraint in his or her actions and the intended victim should show no restraint in defending themselves. There is the right to defend oneself and there is an obligation to defend others who are not capable of defending themselves. We are our brothers keeper as well as our sisters keeper. The Jews are the brothers and sisters of Christians.

Refugees, Illegal Immigration, Sneak Attack, Capitulation and Community Organizing

Think about this, the government may soon cause what no other nation is or was capable of accomplishing, the defeat and occupation of the United States of America. Prior to the atomic age there was no nation on earth that could deal a death-blow to the U.S.A. Even when the atomic age was ushered in only the superpowers had nuclear weapons, none used them because of what was known as MAD, mutually assured destruction.

The Japanese attack on Hawaii was not intended to defeat America or to crush the American military. The attack was intended take the U.S. Navy out of the equation of war. There was at that time no way for Japan to reach America directly and the same goes in reverse. A strong navy was required to go to war if the warring nations were separated by an ocean, especially an ocean as vast as the Pacific. The goal I feel was for America to seek peace with Japan. Japan lacked the power and resources to defeat America and simply sought to eliminate the possibility of America using the Navy to take the war to Japan.

Japan did not follow-up the sneak attack on Hawaii with an invasion of mainland America for two reasons.
The first was it would have been logistically impossible to resupply an invading force that was an ocean away. An invading force has two options resupply yourself or forage for supplies. It is not only supplies that would be needed, the invaders would still need replacement soldiers. The replacements would still need to cross an ocean. Without resupply and replacements the invasion would fail.
The second was the American people themselves. The American citizens have at their disposal something that few other citizens of other countries enjoy, and that is the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. The Japanese knew that even if they did mount and invasion and gain a foothold they would still have to face an armed population. The price for invasion was not one that the Japanese were willing to pay. Even if the sneak attack in Hawaii had been successful and the U.S. Navy was destroyed or reduced to a level that would prevent its use in war, Japan would still not have invaded America.

Two things have kept America relatively safe against aggression through the years.
The First is geographic isolation. Mainland America has only three neighboring countries, Canada to the north. Mexico to the south of Texas. Cuba to the south of Florida. Of the three only two are directly connected Canada and Mexico. Mainland America has no neighboring countries to the East or West only large bodies of water, the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The 49th state Alaska is bordered with Canada and has Russia to the west separated by the Bering Straight. The 50th state Hawaii is an island with no immediate neighbors.
The second is an armed civilian population. A nation where the people enjoy the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

Geographic isolation disappeared with the advent of the Advent of the atomic age. Rouge nations now have at their disposal nuclear weapons to attack far way and distant lands. Other rogue nations will soon have at their disposal nuclear weapons. The rogue nations do not give a damn about mutually assured destruction, for them there is no price to high to pay to attack America or an ally of America. Technology, trade and travel have eliminated geographic isolation.

The citizens in some countries have voluntarily given up their personal firearms. The citizens in those countries not only gave up their personal firearms, they also gave up the ability to defend themselves against invasion or a tyrannical government or against criminals. Which may or may not be the same. They have voluntarily given their safety and protection to the government, military and law enforcement in total and complete. The citizens in some countries have never enjoyed the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and therefore have never had the ability to defend themselves or to protect their countries against invasion. Many if not most of these countries never enjoyed the benefits of geographical isolation, when it was possible.

There is now and has been for sometime an effort to disarm the American citizens. The politicians and activist groups know full well that the American population will never disarm voluntarily. They know it must be done by force(more on this in a later post). This is particularly disturbing given the fact that one of the reasons for Japan not to invade America was an armed population.

This is why I say that the federal government is freely giving those who hate America what geography had denied them in the past. They are and have been given free and unhindered access. To be fair it did not just start with the current administration. But, under the current administration it certainly is gaining momentum. There is no border control thus, there is no immigration control. Not only is there a constant flow of illegals arriving from and through Mexico there is now a new wave of people coming to America. We now are experiencing a wave of refugees from the Middle-East. I might also add that none are being vetted, they are just coming in. They bring nothing and offer nothing. There is no assimilation in to American society. There is no way of telling if they come for a better life, to live off of government handouts or if they come as terrorists. I suspect that the largest portion of those arriving come for the latter two.

As to the matter of the refugees fleeing the Middle-East, why now? The Syrian civil war has been going on for near four years. Now the Syrian refugees are fleeing and arriving in Europe by what ever means available. They bring nothing, they offer nothing and they demand everything. It is worth mentioning that the outflow of refugees begins now given the fact that the Syrian civil war is in its fourth year. It is also worth mentioning that many of the refugees are men, men that appear to be relatively healthy. This leaves me to wonder why these same capable and able-bodied men are not remaining in their country to fight Islamic extremists. I can only see two possibilities as to why the men are fleeing their country. The first is that they could not decide which side to fight for, the government forces or the Islamic extremists, so they just run away leaving everything including family. The second is that they are fighters, Islamic extremist fighters, who have mixed with the refugees to gain a foothold in Europe and will soon arrive in America. Only time will reveal the answer, but I suspect the latter.

Suppose that it was America that was undergoing some sort of “spring” and another nation, an “outside force”, decided that the government of America was oppressive and denying rights to the population. Suppose that same “outside force” decided that the long-established system of government caused strife among the population and it would be best for all if the established form of government should be abandoned. Now suppose that the established and elected government of America stood fast and did not give in to the demands of the outside forces and influences. This would really agitate the outside force and they would have to take action against the established government to see that their visions for how life in America should be. Not only life but government, a government of their choosing not the people’s. But how to accomplish the goal of regime change in America? Direct military action is an option, it is always an option, but it would be the last option. Direct military action against America would be a fool-hardy move, the only outside forces that would consider that move would be one that only sought the destruction of America no matter the cost. There are several that fit that category and more loom on the horizon. At this point America does have some allies who could possibility assist in time of need against an Overt military action. Then again, the outside forces could possibly use the same tactics against America that the BHO administration is using against Assad in Syria. They could use Covert operations, even though these Covert operations are being conducted Overtly. Some faction in America that wanted change could be armed and trained to fight against the established government. This same faction could be identified as a “moderate” group. This faction would not be a military in the truest sense of the word. They would not be soldiers and thus they would not be expected to conduct themselves as soldiers, not on the field of battle and certainly not against the civilian population, no accountability for actions. There would be no Geneva Convention, the rules of how warfare is conducted, and no law, the law would be made as they went along, basically no law. They would only be a “well-trained and armed civilian force, one that is just as well-trained and equipped as military”.(Someone in high political office did say at one time something to the effect of “We need a civilian force just as well-trained and armed as our military”, I wonder if he meant Law-enforcement).

If America found itself in the state Syria is in, what would you do?
Would you pick a side and join? Would join with the government, one that the “world” says you despise? Would you join with the “moderates” to fight against the government, the one the “world” claims you despise, even while knowing that what is coming is even worse?
Would you flee, becoming a refugee? Where would you go? As mentioned above America has only two countries with land borders. Going south from Texas to Mexico is out. The people from Mexico and points south are illegally coming to America to escape their countries. Would you go north to Canada? How many could Canada accept? Would you make your way to Alaska and try to walk or swim to Russia, depending on the season? Would you make your way to Florida down to Key West and try to swim the 90 miles to Cuba? I have not heard of many Americans migrating legally or illegally to other countries of the world, especially Mexico, Cuba or Russia. Canada, Mexico, Russia and Cuba are the closest, the rest of the world is an ocean or two away. Would you be willing to leave everything, family included? If you did become a refugee, and if you were welcomed in a foreign country would you assimilate or would you demand that the country you arrived in give-in to you demands according to the life you had? Good luck with that if you end up in a Muslim country especially if you are not a Muslim or if you are a homosexual.

What is going on a present in Syria is akin to Community Organizing. Community organizers are basically Radical Activists. The radical activists seek change and stir-up the community to achieve their goal. Remember that it is the goal of the activists, militant activists, and not necessarily the goal of the people. The goal is to remove Assad from power in Syria. The activists are the moderates and there partners in radical activism are ISIL/ISIS/IS and any other Radical Islamic Extremist group available. The organizers care only about the goal they do not ever consider what happens because there goal was achieved. If you do not believe that look at Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. There are many other fine examples of community organizing throughout the Middle-East and northern Africa. The goals were achieved and the after effects speak for themselves. The pot was stirred and look what came to the top.

There is a new organizer at work in Syria. Syria has a friend, Russia. Russia has friends and their friends have friends. Russia is going in on the side of Assad, while the U.S.A. supports the one that are called “moderates”. China will pick a side sooner or later if they have not already. And do not forget Iran, and there will be other players in this for sure. Syria may well turn into the new Viet Nam. Assad could be the new Ho Chi Minh. The countries of the Middle-East that are at present enjoying a relative peace better buckle up and hold on, they may find themselves caught-up in this the same as Laos, Cambodia and Thailand were. Regional conflicts tend to grow. NATO and the Warsaw Pact may at last get their long sought after showdown.

As stated above no country in its right mind would use or attempt to use military might to destroy America. America does enjoy a tremendous supply of tools to deter an attack or to retaliate against any attack conventional or unconventional attack, nuclear, chemical or biological. America has Allies, friends and trading partners, right. America has few allies thanks to years of failed foreign policy of this administration and the previous and even before that. The only friends we have are the ones we feel we have to buy. The bought friends will be friends only as long as the money lasts. Friends you have to buy are not worth having.
America even pays its enemies, and gives financial support to those that chant death to America and have vowed to destroy some American allies, Israel.

There is more than one way to bring a country to its knees. Could America be attacked financially? Time will tell. If America is attacked financially the outcome will not be pretty.

Incrementalism and Gradualism Engineering the means to the ends Part 2

Conditioning the people. It does not have to be all the people, just enough of the people and in the right places. Think of it this way. Conditioner is applied after shampooing to make the hair easier to control and manage, preventing tangles thus aiding in grooming. Conditioning is no more than an application of whatever to make the population easier to control and more manageable. Another way to think of it is this, conditioning the population is a way of grooming them into what government wants them to be versus the way they want to be or are supposed to be.

Conditioning through teaching reliance on government. This began in the 1930’s with government attempts to end the Great Depression, even though government interference caused it to last eleven long years. But, none-the-less the conditioning began. Then came the 1960’s and the “great society”, conditioning on steroids. No longer expect self-reliance or self-sufficiency instead teach and instill government dependence. The government will provide for you that which you can not or will not provide for yourself. If one social program was not enough to bring total government dependence another program would be introduced. Welfare, Food Stamps, WIC, Section 8 Housing, the list just goes on and on. Sooner or later a segment of the population will be given enough through government social welfare programs to make working for a living pointless. Working and earning even a little bit would cause a drop in the amount received from government social welfare programs. Welfare programs began to be used as either a reward or a punishment. A person could either be rewarded for laziness or punished for trying to make it on their own. Now the point has been reached with welfare programs where those receiving government welfare live as well and in some cases better that the ones who pay the taxes that support those programs. The social welfare programs did as they were intended, that was to make a segment totally dependent on government for their every aspect of their lives. This conditioning took off like a rocket when social welfare programs began to be called “entitlements”. More on entitlements later.

There are many more ways to condition a segment of the population than for government to bestow gifts upon them.

Conditioning through behavior modification. Let’s face it behavior modification has been around a long time. A child who veered from the path of right, or confused right and wrong had his or her behavior modified by parents who actually took the time to raise their children. If you are even close to my age you understood the previous sentence. The government engages in behavior modification in a different way. The government uses taxes and the tax code to modify behavior.
I will use this example as a way to punish with taxes and the tax code. Tobacco and Smoking. For as long as I have been smoking there have been warnings on the packs about cancer, birth defects and a myriad of other warnings. There have been statistics released on how many people die from lung cancer every year. So how does the government attempt to make me change my behavior? They tax the crap out of tobacco. If smoking is so bad why is it not banned? Because there is a federal agency that regulates tobacco. If smoking was banned the government would lose a source of revenue. So I buy tobacco, pay the taxes and try to enjoy a good smoke. Then they further try to change my behavior by telling me where I can not smoke. They still will not ban it, they only limit where it is used and tax the crap out of it. Money is more important than any thing else. The taxes are used to fund social welfare programs, think SCHIP.
I will use this example and a way to reward with taxes and the tax code. Home improvements, the energy star and electric cars. The appliances in your home are aging and you have considered replacing or upgrading. Major appliances are expensive you decide to wait, after all the old appliances still work and do the job that they were intended to do. Enter the government to offer a tax credit if you replace your appliances. The newer ones are more energy-efficient, or so they claim. So you replace them early for a tax credit, a break on income taxes. The same is true of electric cars and solar panels, again the purchase of one garners a tax credit. You do what the government wants and you get a break on taxes. You get not tax credit for conserving without upgrading. You only get a tax break for buying what they want you to buy.

Think about the other ways the population is being conditioned. Getting accustomed and used to seeing and experiencing now what would have been cause for alarm. I am not one to believe that the government allowed the events of 9/11 or the Boston Marathon bombing and the other terrorist attacks to happen. They may have missed the warnings. They have certainly capitalized on every catastrophe and incident. Government has grown or expanded its powers each and every opportunity presented to it. There are many more, you only have to think.

Are you being conditioned?

Now to entitlements. You are entitled to the following by being an American citizen; Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Outside of those three things you are entitled to what you have earned or produced. You are not entitled to one single thing that I or anyone else has earned or produced. You certainly are not entitled to Welfare.

Incrementalism and Gradualism, Engineering the means to the end Part 1

Incrementalism, a policy or advocacy of a policy of political or social changes by degrees.
Gradualism, the policy of approaching a desired end by gradual stages.
Those two words best sum up the Domestic Policy of liberal progressives and especially the current administration. Bit by bit, bringing America down to the level of the rest of the world. Liberalism and progressivism are not just confined to the Democratic Party, it also exists in the Republican Party. In that context when the term “liberal progressive” is used it does not necessarily mean a democrat. Perhaps a better term would be “social progressive” or “political progressive”, that would eliminate some confusion.

The easiest population for government to have absolute power and domain over would be best described as a population of totally compliant Peoples, the ones that are most referred to as sheep, aka “sheeple”. By contrast the hardest people to have absolute power and domain over would be those that believe in the principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

There are only two types of governments around the world.
1 The governments founded on a principle that denies basic rights to the citizens and power is retained by the government, even if that government is composed of only one person. In these countries the constitution, if the country has one, gives power to the government, which by default limits, denies or removes power from the people. These countries are ruled by force not consent, a totalitarian government. The people have no rights and have no choice but to comply with government. The inhabitants are property of the State and are passed along to the next Ruler. This is an example of a Democracy, rule by the majority. Actually the people do have somewhat of a choice, they can choose not to comply, which will have dire consequences.

2 The governments founded on the principle that the government has power only because the population gives their consent to be governed. These countries are governed by consent not by force. In these countries the power remains with the people, a representative government. In these countries the Constitution is to limit the powers of the government, not the people. Not only do the people have and are guaranteed, not granted, their rights, they are also free to exercise them or not, as they choose. The Constitution in these countries limit the power of government, each branch has its own specific roles and limitation and operate on a system of checks and balances.

The question at this point would be do you wish to live under a government or with a government?

If your answer was to live under a government, this is what you chose.
You have only the rights given to you by government and can only exercise them as long as government allows. What the government gives the government can take away.
Basically this sums it up best. Rights when granted are not granted equally. The government has complete and total control over your life and all aspects of it from cradle to grave. Government control is total and limitless. A government that tells you what you can do, when you can do and for how long. A government that tells you what you can buy and when. A government that tells you what you will or will not buy.

If you chose to live with a government, this is what you chose.
You recognize and accept that you have Certain Inalienable Rights namely Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. The usage of the word Certain in the previous sentence is the same as the Founders and Framers intended as to mean Absolute. You are responsible for your life from cradle to grave. You have rights that are granted by the Creator of the Universe. They are yours, you can not transfer them, they are yours. You have a choice when it comes to “Certain Inalienable” rights, you are free to exercise them or not. That is real Freedom and Liberty.

Given the choices above and the question of which would you rather do live under a government or live with a government, there arises a new question. Why would a people who had so happily lived with a government would now voluntarily give that up and choose instead to live under a government? Going from being governed by consent to being ruled.

This brings up another question. At what point is the government no longer content with the idea of governing by consent?

There comes a time when government begins to see the population as “a thorn in its side”. When government reaches that point governing by consent goes out the window and rule by force becomes the government. There are only two ways implement a government ruling by force in a nation that had up to that time been governed by consent. The first is Fast and Brutal, in a large nation fast and brutal has inherent problems. The second is in slow, planned, and gradual or incremental steps and requires patient engineering. As I have written before government is about power and control. Government is only concerned with the continued existence and well-being of government. The larger government grows the harder it is to control, at some point it goes out of control, out of control of the people, that is. The larger government grows the more power it has or takes and the more power it wields over the population. Soon the population is powerless to resist the force of government.

A sickness crosses the Land

More of a decay than a sickness. The decay is from rot and corruption, and it is spreading at a fever pitch. There is an old adage that goes; America can never be destroyed from the outside, if America is to be destroyed it must come from the inside. Truer words could never have been said, but those words were said long ago. That was the America that was.

This is the America that is. America is being destroyed by the rot and corruption that exists on the inside. If that were not enough rot and corruption are being brought inside from the outside. Much like a piece of lumber under attack from termites and exposure the elements. Both eating away, both causing irreversible damage.

There is another old adage that goes; An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This country at one time had all the tools necessary to prevent rot and corruption. That was then this is now.

The Reverse Revolution was mentioned in the last post. Just a refresher: A revolution, like the American Revolution, was waged to throw off the yoke of tyranny and oppression inflicted on the colonials and the country by an unjust government. A Reverse Revolution, like the one being waged against the American people, is being waged to put the yoke of tyranny and oppression on the people and the country by an unjust government.

The sad part is that the government is using one of this countries most cherished founding documents to do it. The government is using none other than The U.S. Constitution in an attempt to place the yoke of tyranny and oppression upon the neck of America. The equal protection clause is at this time is their favorite weapon in this war. The equal protection clause was to protect the people not their causes or lifestyles. But even the usage of the equal protection clause is not used equally. It is used only if it benefits government and the politicians who occupy Constitutional Office and helps to fulfill their agenda.

If any do not believe that the Constitution is being used to place the yoke of tyranny and oppression around the neck of America, I suggest that you read the following; The Declaration of Independence and the Declaration of Arms. Check the list of offenses the British Crown committed against the Colonies and the Colonials. One that stands out is the arbitrary nullifying of Laws. Case in point, the State of Florida, as did many others, had until recently a law on the books banning same-sex marriage. The people voted on it and it passed and became Law in Florida and many other states. That was then this is now. The SCOTUS ruled, no legislative process they just ruled, and the country was forced to recognize same-sex marriage in all 50 states and the District of Columbia as being a right. Laws were over-turned and the peoples voice was silenced. The same goes for abortion, that too was legalized by SCOTUS, now it has been revealed that this great nation has been reduced to allowing the sale of body parts and organs of the unborn, and giving millions to the agency responsible. What other horrors has the SCOTUS unwittingly un-leashed on America? Only time will tell. There will probably be many and they too will be horrendous.

The other day I was visiting various blogs, one of the many that I frequent, It was a “prepper” blog. Yep, I read opinion, politics, history, prepper and conspiracy theory sites. The part that caught my attention in the post I was reading was about the Constitution. The author was writing about a prepper community and if they survived the event someone would have to rebuild America, he suggested that every one in the community have a copy of the Constitution as a guide to rebuilding America. I do not think the author realized that even though the Constitution was written by good and decent men, it is being used now as the instrument for the destruction of America.
On a side note: Conspiracy theories are only theories until that theory becomes fact.
The preppers are nothing like the reality show. How do I know? Guess. The preppers are not some fringe group. If prepping is a fringe activity, explain this. The Federal government has a fully staffed and equipped prepper agency, FEMA, paid for with your tax dollars. If it is okay for the government, why is it only a fringe activity if the citizens do it? The preppers use their own money.

Back to the Constitution, as I said it was written by good and decent men. It is only worth the paper it is written on if good and decent men meant it when they take the oath to uphold it. You would be hard pressed to find good and decent men among career politicians.

The rot and corruption that is destroying America must be stopped. It can be stopped by electing good and decent men to Constitutional office. We do not need more politicians we need more statesmen. We need statesmen who will pledge their lives, their sacred honor and their fortunes. We do not need politicians who intend to make a fortune while holding office. It can also be stopped by a Press that fulfills its obligation to the people, by holding the government accountable. It can be stopped by a citizenry that understands that if they wish to reap the benefits of living in America they must bear the burden of supporting it.

Micro Economics

May be this will help Greece. It might even help the U.S. if any of those enlightened government spenders see it.

Going broke. If your monthly income is $2,000.00 and you spend $2,000.00 you are broke. If you are broke and have not met your basic needs, you at this point are worse than broke you are stupid.

Getting by. If your monthly income is $2,000.00 and you spend $2,000.00 you are broke. If you are broke and have met your basic needs you are still broke but you are not stupid, stupid. You could still be stupid in the instance there was any of that $2,000.00 left over and you wasted it.

Saving for “a rainy day”. If your monthly income is $2,000.00 and you only spend $1,900.00 you have now $100.00 you could save for that rainy day aka emergency. If you are successful at doing this for one year you will have saved $1,200.00, a pretty nice rainy day fund.

Coming up short aka deficit spending. If your monthly income is $2,000.00 and you spend $2,100.00 you have spent more than you took in. Now, if you had a rainy day fund the overage could be covered from that, but that fund would have decreased from $1,200.00 to $1,100.00. You could decrease your spending by $100.00 the next month thereby replacing the $100.00 you borrowed from yourself because you went over for that one month. But at some point you would need to decrease you monthly spending again by $100.00 because you did not make a monthly contribution to the rainy day fund. If you do not replace the $100.00 you borrowed your rainy day fund is actually short $200.00, the $100.00 you borrowed and the $100.00 you did not put in.
You in actuality could do this eleven more times before you went broke, spending $2,100.00 and only taking in $2,000.00. But if you did this for an entire year your rainy day fund would be wiped completely out and be $2,400.00 dollars short, the $1,200.00 you borrowed and the $1,200.00 you failed to put in. This again makes you broke and stupid.

The path to bankruptcy. Deficit spending with no reserve aka rainy day fund. If your monthly income is $2000.00 and you go over by as much as a penny with no reserve you are forced to borrow enough to cover the shortage. The next month rolls around and you get the same $2,000.00 but now you not only have to pay for the necessities you now have a debt to pay. If you are still short you find yourself in the awkward position of choosing what does not get paid or borrowing more to pay the debt. If you do not find a way to get control of this soon you will find yourself borrowing just to pay the interest. If left un-checked soon you will find yourself only paying interest, but the debt never goes down. At some point in time you will not even be able to make the interest payments. All it takes is one month when you do not get the $2,000.00, or you do get it and you misuse it. Sooner or later the debtor will demand payment in full.

Actually this post is not about Greece, you are already a financial basket-case looking for someone to bail you out of the mess you have gotten yourselves into. This post is intended for the spend happy politicians and bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. before the U.S. becomes a financial basket-case.

I doubt that the big government spenders will read this and even if they do it will be viewed as meaningless as I do not have a PhD in economics and I only used small numbers.

Just wondering what is the collateral on that over 18 trillion dollars of debt? Or is it 19 trillion dollars by now? If the debt is still increasing it is either interest that is not being paid, or more is being borrowed to pay the interest. What would be the payment on that much debt be? Just asking

And by the way, what will become of the 40,000 military personnel you plan to cut over the next two years? I was just asking because the release said the military would be cut, but the 17,000 civilians would be laid off. Which one will get un-employment? Just asking.

The government rainy day fund must be getting close to the end if it has not already been spent. The government seems to be cutting necessities to pay interest, or can you even pay the interest. Still wondering about that collateral issue.

Decisions and action may have immediate benefits, but it does have consequences and there are almost always unintended consequences.

Let’s take same-sex marriage. The SCOTUS just up and decided to make a Constitutional issue out of an issue that was not a Constitutional matter. Marriage is based on religion. One could say that the SCOTUS is supposed to uphold the Constitution on all matters constitutional. But leaving that aside, if marriage at least in their eyes and opinion has become a Constitutional issue what about divorce. Is divorce now also a Constitutional issue?
Let’s face it some marriages do end in divorce, some of which turn into bitter court battles. Marriages end in divorce for many reasons infidelity, financial reasons and so many more. But above all Marriage is the leading cause of Divorce.
I can’t wait to hear about these same-sex marriages ending up in divorce court. Some people spend thousands of dollars or even tens of thousands of dollars to get married and much more is spent terminating the marriage. Lawyer fees, court costs and the like. How will the judge decide who pays child support or alimony? As to the matter of alimony in traditional marriage that was pretty easy. As to child support, unless the same-sex couple adopted a child one of them came into the marriage with children. Really I can hardly wait. Will the judge make one pay for the others child or will the judge say the child is your responsibility. Oh, the possibilities. Same-sex divorce could even spawn a new reality show.
Who knows the SCOTUS may have just taken an action that would turn the economy around, lord knows the administration has not. Lawyers will certainly benefit. Revenue will increase in the issuance of marriage licenses, government profits.

We now have this from the administration and the DOD, we are warned to avoid large gatherings this Independence Day, now referred to as the 4th of July. If the threats are credible why not just cancel the events? The events are not cancelled, but mass attendance is discouraged. Why? Could this be a further attempt to chip away at the foundation of America?

I was just wondering if there are any Gay Pride events scheduled, after all they just got the right to get hitched. If there are, was mass attendance discouraged?

Will BHO be American proud and illuminate the White House Red, White and Blue for Independence Day?

BHO and his administration still negotiate with countries where homosexuality is punishable by death, yet lit up the White House in gay pride colors. The other side of this equation is that those who execute homosexuals are willing to negotiate with BHO after his open support of homosexuality. Some people in government have no morals or principles.

Possibilities and a twist

Lately there has been much on JADE HELM and the possibilities of the military exercise being used as a prelude or practice for Martial Law and a round-up and extraction of citizens for either placement in FEMA Camps or outright elimination.

First let’s take up the possibility of Martial Law.
Martial Law by definition is 1: the law applied in occupied territory by the military of the occupying power 2: the law administered by military forces that is invoked by a government in an emergency when the civilian law enforcement agencies are unable to maintain order and safety.
Let’s break these down.
Martial Law under definition 1 would require of two one of two possibilities.

1 America invaded, defeated and occupied by a foreign power. This is highly unlikely, unless prearranged for political expediency. Even then the foreign power would have to face the American people. Even Japan after the successful sneak attack on the U.S. Military at Pearl Harbor did not dare to attempt an attack on mainland America. Japan and it’s military did not at that time fear or respect the U.S. Government or the Military, if they had they would have never attacked. What they did fear was the American people and their capabilities, the same as any person with half of a brain would do.

2. The American government to declare war on the American people, this is the most unlikely of all. It is the American people who pay for government, the government dries up and ceases to exist and the people are still here. Even if this were to happen ALL civilian(non-military)personnel would be removed from office to be replaced by the military, either in the effected areas or the nation as a whole, this would not serve politicians well. Remember Martial Law is administered by the Military. That is unless they appointed themselves as Generals and Admirals.
Martial Law under definition 2 is the problem and has almost an endless array of possibilities of coming into existence. Let’s take a look at some of these possibilities.

First a large-scale terrorist attack. Let’s not forget the events on September the eleventh of 2001. 9/11 solidified the American people like no time since the Japanese attack on December seventh 1941. Differences were set aside and the Americans became one voice. Public order and safety remained intact. Another would do the same.

Second a natural disaster. Hurricane Katrina comes to mind and the events that unfolded along the gulf coast especially those in New Orleans. Law, order and public safety deteriorated rapidly. Local law enforcement agencies were over whelmed and the active and guard units of the military were called to assist. This event met the criteria for definition 2. Not meaning to downplay the loss of life, property and damage inflicted by Katrina but it was a localized event. Though the area of destruction and damage was large it was small in comparison to the size of America. Therefore if Martial Law was declared it would have been for a relatively small area in America and would have ceased upon restoration of order and public safety.

Third societal breakdown. Much like witnessed in Missouri, Maryland, New York and the other localities where riots broke out after the death of a person, and every time a minority, at the hands of law enforcement. These were too a localized event that law enforcement was capable of handling to restore order and public safety.

Fourth a total financial collapse. This event would trigger civil unrest like almost no other. Government would have no funds to pay the bills, this would not trigger the unrest. The unrest would commence as soon as the government checks stopped coming. Those that have become dependent on government, and in some cases generational, for their every need and in some cases wants would find themselves penniless with no prospects. The amount of crime that would arise would soon overwhelm local law enforcement, the military could even be overwhelmed.

Fifth a total power failure. It would not matter if it was caused by the forces of nature or manmade the result would be the same. Possibilities three and four would follow in short order. The “grand daddy” of them all.

Sixth a small-scale terrorist attack. Not meaning to downplay the loss of life, pain or suffering but the Boston Marathon bombing comes to mind. Again the country came together. But, the Boston Marathon bombing provided something the 9/11 attacks did not. The bombing provided two live terrorists on the loose in a major U.S. city, Boston. The man hunt for the two suspects caused the “lock-down” of a city and provided law enforcement the opportunity to conduct warrantless searches of people’s homes in search of the two suspects in the name of public safety, of course.

Of the six possibilities listed above, and there are many more, only the second can not be arranged, the other five can be engineered or allowed to happen. However government is not above “capitalizing” on natural disasters.

Just as the Boston Marathon bombing provided opportunities for placing a city on “lockdown” and warrantless searches which proved to be valuable training, Hurricane Katrina provided opportunities as well. Warrantless searches of homes for stranded people and most important of all forced relocation of citizens. Were there any complaints? It was all done in the name of public safety. Much was revealed about the people and how much freedom and liberty they would surrender in the name of security. 9/11 brought air travel in America to a stand still and ushered in an even larger government. Travelers must now endure the intrusions of the TSA just to travel by air, again more freedom and liberty were surrendered for security. Not to mention one glaringly important fact. People, at least some of them, will obey government and follow directions without question.

Now to the matter of round-ups and extractions. This type of operation would require an effort on such a large-scale it is almost unmanageable. So much must tale place before such an effort could be undertaken. All forms of communication would most certainly have to be shut down. There would need to be a MSM blackout, no news. No television, radio, cell phones, internet and the list just goes on and on, but the population remains mobile. Shut all of this down at once, see possibility number three. Not to mention every one selected for round-up would have to be tracked 24 hours a day to ascertain their exact location prior to commencement of the round-ups not to mention the extraction method would need to be close at hand. Even if selected people were placed on color coded priority lists the logistics are mind-boggling.
There is a way however, to get the intended quarry to come to you. No need to find them if you know where they will be, a kind of arranged meeting. More on this in a subsequent paragraph.

One more note on Martial Law, where it has been implemented the people had no way to fight back and were the losers in an armed contest. A military government was established soon replaced by a provisional government and eventually a stable permanent form of government if all went according to plan. In recent conflicts the martial law part was never implemented, it instead went straight to a provisional government that became permanent even if it was corrupt. Politically Expedient.

Disarming a nation. There are those who will say there are only two ways to get a person to agree with you. Reason and Force. In other words get them to voluntarily disarm or take them by force. Taking them by force could come at a heavy cost. Voluntarily disarming is the cheapest way. But what if there was a third way? Let them keep them but give them no reason to resist, it is for your own good and safety, or show them resistance is futile at best.

As to JADE HELM 15 I am not saying that it is or is not a prelude or practice for the implementation of Martial Law or being used as a cover for round-up and forced relocations. It may be to demonstrate the over whelming force that could be deployed against resistance, but it could be used to demonstrate the force and reaction a terror group would be facing. What I do find odd about the exercise is the publicity, though that may be the intention. Advertising a show of force is a pretty effective deterrent. The duration is tiring an taxing on a person participating. The training in, near and around populated areas. Most military accidents occur during training. Or maybe just an excuse to pre-position needed equipment and personnel.

Above I only listed six possibilities. What if there was a seventh? An “accidental” release causing a potentially extremely deadly biological event real or imagined.

Here is the twist. This goes back to arranging a meeting, bringing your quarry to you. Why now the news of the “accidental” shipments of live anthrax so close to an announced realistic military training exercise? News comes out everyday of more shipments. If it is live and ends up in the hands of some incompetent lab assistant that “accidentally” opens Pandora’s Box, what then. This would be the “news flash”. An accidental release has occurred all persons should report to wherever for testing. The Quarry comes in voluntarily and “tests positive” and must be relocated for treatment to prevent further spread. There you have it turned yourself in and willing got on the bus to receive “treatment”.

Or maybe JADE HELM 15 is to bring distrust upon the Military, after all they are the most trusted part of the government. Events are being used to bring distrust for law enforcement.

Feeding the Monsters

There are certainly many Monsters roaming America and the planet, and feeding them will certainly keep them alive and well. Throughout history Monsters have been associated with Evil, and Evil has been associated with Monsters.

One prime example of a Monster historically documented was Hitler, and no one can deny that Hitler was Evil. Hitler was even called Monstrously Evil. Hitler was ultimately destroyed along with Nazism. The Monster and the Evil he created were defeated and destroyed. There have been many other men and women throughout history who were Monsters and certainly Evil. Without fail each and every one of them were associated with fear, oppression and broken promises. Most rose to power feeding on fear, oppression and promising to make things better for the middle class, while others were born into power. Monsters create other Monsters and Evil creates more Evil, each feeding off of the other.

The problem with Monsters is that all of them do not always appear in life as they appear in fairy tales and in the movies, if they did they would be easy to recognize. Monsters are one of life’s great deceptions. Monsters may not look or appear as Monsters but they are incapable of hiding their inner Monstrous tendencies eventually they are exposed for what they are. The problem with Evil is that Evil does not always appear as Evil. Evil can and most often appears as good or necessary. Evil is another of life’s great deceptions. There is the notion that evil can be used for good, as far-fetched as that seems.

Monsters and the Evils that they create can only exist in darkness and secrecy. To be rid of them they must be exposed to the light and truth.

The question one should be asking, at least the one I was asking myself, is why would someone intentionally continue to feed the Monster and allow the Evil it creates to continue. The Monster and the Evil that I am referring to is ISIL/ISIS/The Islamic State. Given the military might of this nation, why does the Islamic State, as they now refer to themselves, continue to exist? The Monster and the Evil it does survives and thrives.

Last week Delta Force was successful in eliminating one of the Islamic State’s top thugs. In the same week the Islamic State was able to successfully attack two towns, Ramadi in Iraq and Palmyra in Syria. Our military under the brilliant leadership of BHO focuses on taking out one man while IS focuses on taking and occupying two towns in two different countries. IS is able to recruit from nearly every country in the world the dead man will soon be replaced. The two towns will cost more than one man to retake.

Multi-million dollar aircraft and priceless pilots are being sent out to bomb trucks in the desert. This same tactic was used in Viet Nam with disastrous results.

This why I say the Monster is still being fed. IS is still being resupplied with world-class military equipment. The defenders of Ramadi dropped their weapons and abandoned their equipment to include tanks in the face of IS fighters. That plus what they picked in the Palmyra offensive should give U.S. airpower more and new targets. As long as the Iraqi forces cut-and-run IS should have a never-ending supply of equipment and airpower should have a never-ending supply of targets. How many times have American combat aircraft and bombers flown missions only to destroy American equipment?

The spokesmouth for BHO said the Iraqi forces that dropped their weapons and abandoned their equipment in the face of an IS attack were not trained by the U.S. This brings up two questions.
First, who trained them? The ones who were trained should be training. The U.S. should have trained the trainers.
Second, if they were not trained by the U.S. then why the hell were the using American equipment?

The U.S. Military Academies are still open, aren’t they? Why have not great military commanders leaders like Patton, Bradley, Eisenhower, MacArthur, Nimitz, Halsey, Puller and the rest come out of West Point, VMI, Annapolis and the rest. Or have they and they have been side-lined or fired? Is someone afraid one of them might go full Patton on IS?

Keeping IS alive and well could be just as intended, never actually intending to defeat them gives one and enemy and war, even if limited, for life.

If BHO is un-willing to use the massive military might against IS, who is he planning to un-leash it on? Is there another Monster and great Evils in some ones future? Training for something. Ukraine? JADE HELM?

The coming of the Fourth Reich?

The world has already witnessed three Reichs. A Reich is no more than a government, which is best defined as to put in order, set straight. The First Reich was the Holy Roman Empire and is regarded as the First German Empire. The Second Reich was the German Empire from 1871 through 1919. The Third Reich was the German Fascist State under the Nazis from 1933 through 1945.
Is the fourth unfolding? The Fourth Reich will not be about Germany, it will not even be in Europe.

The Third Reich came into existence for several reasons and to correct the failures of the previous two. The first reason was to protect national identity and establish it as the master identity, master race. The government under the leadership of Adolf Hitler and with the aid of his “henchmen” set about a campaign of propaganda, lies and fear-mongering to convince the “master race” that they were “victims” and oppressed in their home country by foreigners, “inferior races” and “inferior people” or “groups of Peoples”. Once the hatred of those deemed by the government, Reich, as “inferior” was established separation and segregation began. The next thing needed for the execution of the plan to protect the “master race” was enforcement. What had begun as the “Brown Shirts” that would later graduate and elevate to the level of the “Black Shirts”, the SS. Full implementation of the plan to protect the “master race” would require the occurrence of a “triggering event”, the “Enabling Act”. The “Enabling Act” was established in the Constitution of the Weimar Republic and would be triggered and set in motion by an event seen and deemed by the government as a threat to national security. The Enabling Act would remove all legislative processes and powers from the Legislature and placed them in the hands of the Führer and the Cabinet, aka bureaucrats. The triggering event was a fire at the Reichstag, which was not only a threat to national security but a direct attack on the government. Once the Father Land was secured, why not spread the Reich to the neighboring countries that had high populations of the “master race”, through annexation. The annexation of neighboring countries not only brought more of the “master race” but it also brought excess baggage, large numbers of “inferiors”. Elimination of all opposition and those seen and deemed as “inferior” began. Round-up and Containment of “inferiors” in “Ghettos” lead to the establishment of “concentration camps”.

As to the establishment of a Fourth Reich, what would it entail? What would be required of a Constitutional Republic to let itself deteriorate to the state of such a Reich.
First, a leader using “charisma” just like Hitler used in the establishment of the Third Reich to establish the Fourth. One that could give speeches to a “targeted audience” to stir up feelings and emotions, especially the “you are victims approach”. One that would use any opportunity or event to stir-up discontent, and use the administration to do the same. A leader who could use rhetoric to divide the population into ever smaller groups, and then give targeted speeches to the targeted audience to elicit a targeted response. A leader would be needed that would capitalize on the over-reach of those that previously held his office, and be willing to engage in even more over-reach. A leader would be needed that was willing to use the Cabinet to punish anyone who is seen as opposition.
Second, a completely obedient Legislative branch of government to abdicate its responsibility to the “charismatic” leader, the current administration, cabinet and bureaucrats. A legislature that would voluntarily give more and more power to the leader, but at the same time complain about the power grab of the leader. A Legislature would be needed that would appoint “radicals” to cabinet level and judicial positions. A Legislature that would in a moment of insanity pass legislation that would give the leader ultimate power in the event of a triggering event.
Third, a completely obedient press, one which totally abdicated the principles of “freedom of the press”. A Press that protects the Leader and his minions while attacking any opposition.
Fifth, a population that blindly believes what they are told. A population or a segment of the population that has become completely dependent on government for their existence. A population that willingly allows itself to be divided and “pitted” against the remainder of the population. A segment of the population that is constantly told that they are victims of the remaining population. A population that willingly trades, no gives up, something for value for something little value and at times for things of no value. A population or a segment of the population that will not stay informed, or think for themselves. A segment of the population that has totally abdicated the principles of self-determination and self-reliance, totally government dependent.

Will the Fourth Reich be different from the previous three? Yes, definitely.
One distinguishing characteristic about the Holy Roman Empire was that a conquered people were expected to assimilate and become citizens of the Empire with the rights and protections afforded with citizenship.
The Fourth Reich will have no expectations of assimilation nor will it be demanded of any new citizen in order to garner the privileges or benefits of assimilation into the population. The Fourth Reich will be a direct contradiction of the First Reich in the matter of assimilation. As a matter of fact non-assimilation will be rewarded. The new citizens will become hyphenated citizens, with their origin first and the new country last. Amazingly some of the population that had existed before will be encouraged to do the same, become hyphenated, a form of division. The government will even ensure that some segments of the population will be and remain hyphenated on government forms. The Press will even be complicit in this hyphenation. The Cabinet will even be complicit in this, branches of the cabinet will ensure that one segment is afforded special protections. The Legislature will even be a part in passing legislation that offers protections for one against another. This will all be one-sided.
The distinguishing characteristic of the Third Reich was to establish a master race.
The Fourth Reich will not attempt to establish a “master race”, as a matter of fact the exact opposite will be the goal. The country that will be the Home of the Fourth Reich does not believe in the principles of a master race. In this country there is a dominate population and by dominate I do not mean superior, I mean the majority population. The Fourth Reich will instead seek to relegate the majority population irrelevant. This will be accomplished by allowing illegal immigration and forced relocation. The establishment of Ghettos will not be needed, instead the idea of social engineering will be used. It will be the intent of the government to remain in power. The best way to accomplish this task would be to disperse the non-assimilating citizenry into areas that are seen as opposition by the government and giving them the right to vote. By knowing that the non-assimilating will vote a particular way and by social engineering and strategic relocation it is easy to relegate the majority to a minority.
One other characteristic of the Third Reich was National Pride. National Pride will be discouraged in the Fourth Reich. The Leader will assure this by constantly denying the exceptionalism of the country. Not only will the leader do this in his own country, to a targeted audience, he will make these announcements around the world and anytime he addresses the world. He will use any unfortunate yet isolated event to make his case that government interventions are the solution. He will interject himself into local events especially if that event serves to further his agenda, even if it causes more trouble and deepens the divides. He will seek to eliminate any resemblance of national pride. The symbols usually associated will begin to disappear as the government begins telling the population that the symbols of nationalism are the cause of evil in the world. The lie will be repeated over and over and the uninformed of the population begin to believe the lies and propaganda, soon the population will demand the removal of national symbols as they are signs of oppression. The leader would claim that the country is a country of immigrants, therefore all immigrants should be welcomed. The leader would begin the education, no indoctrination, of the citizens first in public schools with a curriculum that would be common in all schools around the country. Later education in colleges would be provided free of charge, but only if the student was to meet specific requirements. The government would set the requirements. The people of the Fourth Reich would soon learn that there is nothing that is free, but it will have to be learned the hard way.
There are many tactics employed in the previous three that would be of great use to a tyrannical despotic ruler. One tactic and tool a tyrannical despotic ruler could use was a Nationalized Police Force, sort of like the Gestapo. Another would be a “secret police force”, where one citizen would spy on another citizen and report back on any activity the government thought to be anti-what ever the case may be that day. The most useful tool would be a “national registry”, where all citizens are required to produce their “papers” at the request of some bureaucrat or nationalized police.
The national registry could be established in many ways, but the easiest is mandatory voting. If everyone that is eligible to vote has to vote, everyone must register. But, even this draconian measure would only net a portion of the population. It would only be a partial list, registry, as only those eligible to vote would be registered, but this would be a huge start. But how to finish the registry? That would be easy in a tyrannical despotic empire. All that would be required is for some bureaucrat in an agency that oversees travel to come up with a requirement for in-country travel papers, an in-country passport. That would only require a triggering event, such as a terrorist attack, even if it were staged. It would then be required for safety and security. The government would say they are only looking for suspected terrorists, and the terrorists would not have an in-country passport. If you are not in possession of one you must be a terrorist.

The Fourth Reich is coming, of that you can be sure. Maybe it is already in existence, though yet early in its founding. When it is fully formed for the world to see it will be given a more sanitized name than the Fourth Reich. There is probably some bureaucrat sitting in an office in the Department of Slogans that is busy working on a sanitized name, while another bureaucrat in the Department of Scams is busy working out the final details of it implementation. The whole thing will come under the control of the Department of Misery, formerly known as the Department of Fairness and Equality.

Like I stated earlier it will not be in Germany, and not in Europe. Where will it be you ask? To that I say stay informed.
